What I really want to know is how to make it start to sound and how to adjust the controls of the device. Know what each button is for and how to regulate them.

Gold nuggests is about 30cm in air test. It depends on the size of the gold.

all metal detectors will beep at metal objects above ground like in this video. do the same distance to same objects buried in different type underground situations and show same results as shown in this video then perhaps id get interested

MUSTAFAJAFFERY, this detector can detect up to 5 meters for a big object especially if its a box of coins.

@@irootsk i recently took some detecting with my md 88 and it can detect up to 7m. no kidding. i use a 12v motorcycle battery instead of 8 size aa batteries. these machines are very good for deep seeking any kind of metal objects.
@@irootsk i'm so sorry for you sir if you don't believe me. i don't have a video regarding my detecting for security reasons, but i already have detected many possible treasures located near our place. i don't promote this detector since i don't own the company and i am not also a chinese. actually i'm into treasure hunting for more than 10 years now so i know what i am talking about.

Wow, pitiful. I expected better, even from this machine. Might as well go to Harbor Freight for all the depth this machine gets.
