- Introduction:
In contemporary environments, tracking visitor footfall is essential for various purposes such as security management, resource allocation, and occupancy analysis. The proposed project aims to develop a cost-effective and efficient solution for visitor counting using IoT (Internet of Things) technology. Leveraging the ESP32 microcontroller and ultrasonic sensors, this project will provide real-time monitoring of visitor entries, exits and total number of visitors in the room on the BLYNK application on your phone .
Objectives:
Develop a robust IoT-based system capable of accurately counting visitors entering and exiting a specified area.
Utilize ESP32 microcontroller for its versatility, low power consumption, and built-in Wi-Fi capabilities.
Implement ultrasonic sensors for proximity detection.
Design a user-friendly interface for accessing real-time visitor count data.
Enable remote monitoring and data retrieval through web or mobile applications.
