well, they kind of buffed it. the venom fog is for sure helpful and they also did rework the pounce a little, but, I am the wrong guy to judge that. troodon is way too fast for an old man like me and so I struggle with it, no matter how powerful the pounce would be

We were a huge group of players harassing everything on our path. Also died couple of times, but always managed to find the guys and continue playing. Small dinos can be very fun.
Personally I like the balance. If you are in a big group there are enough pounces available for sure. And as solo, is a stalk your prey kinda fight. Trying to maintain/reserve your stam, tracking causing venom and bleed, you can make them vomit also. It's a slower hunt. But you have the ability to hide very easily :)
If that's on Petits piets, then I believe they sometimes despawn bodies to increase server performance. A bit unfair to scavengers I think. After all, that's what the Ceras are here for.
yes it was on petits. oh, do they? would make sense in terms of performance, but, they de-spawned pretty quickly. we didn't even get all the organs out of the body
most people told me so, but, I also had people here who told me how unfair the admins are and that they ban if you kill them ingame. personally I only had good experiences so far tho

All people beeing banned I witnessed were right to be banned cause they tried to stretch the rules…. So I’d be careful with people crying about beeing banned mentioning it’s ain’t there fault….. That doesn’t mean that there might have been some false cases but overall it’s an amazing sever I think :)
That's a funny coincidence with the troodon episode 🤣. What do you think of troodon?. Personally I love the fact that troodons venom acts like dilos with the fog and sound effects. Troodons giggle while and whistle while those trippy sound effects are playing is pretty scary. Haha. I was hunted by one and I was definitely freaked out. But glad the venom didn't last long either. And it's pounce has improved, and I love the acceleration to escape/tease haha. Thanks Mombie!
I love the venom fog, even if I didn't experience it often by now. in fact just once and I think it wasn't even purple. but, the giggle when the prey gets purple adds so much immersion to the situation. troodon is fun, but, personally I struggle a lo to hit a pounce. it moves too quickly for my bad reaction time I saw you did a troodon video, too, but, didn't have have time to watch it now. but I will soon
@@da.mombie I was just playing as troodon, it was me and another friend and we got a tenno into the purple and I just took advantage of that and done heaps of calls etc and it ran away. I used too much stam and couldn't chase, But you could see it was freaking out a bit haha. Yeah it's very fast and intense when you need to hunt. So definitely get that haha. I found it helpful to be pretty close to them before you pounce so you don't pop over them, But it's scarier and more prone to being hit. I think you will enjoy it, and we found an awesome little gap in the world haha. Thanks Mombie!
They should prioritize troony pounce over other attacks from bigger dinos.......its supposed to be a dino thats hard to hit and all the dibble needs to do is swing their heads and lag will kill you
thx honestly I still mess around with different mutations for different dinos. there are only a few dinos where I have some mutation which I mostly use
They should have a damage buff that scales with pack size. They are so much fun to play but they can't do much to any adult dino not that they should be able to. But a large pack should be able to kill something like a adult raptor or adolescent to sub carnos and ceras.
I'm pretty sure a pack of 3-4 good troodon players can take down a teno. the biggest problem is the pounce. it's risky because it is often bugged, but, that also applies to omni vs bigger prey like stego, so

Nope, they randomly appear around dead bodies and sometimes I even see them jumping in the grass. But of course they always don't spawn while I am dying from hunger and bad diet as a troo 😂
I loved legacy back then, but, evrima is already better in every aspect in my opinion. as much as I miss my burrow and some of me beloved dinos, but, I don't miss tail riding, no collision and most and foremost the light bug which drove me crazy in the end
Troodon doesn't need a buff but a complete mechanic overhaul. His Venom is unsuitable for his style of play, too complicated to use and easy to counter with running away or standing against walls or water. In addition, you are as good as killing by the prey as of a group member who accidentally hits you with a pounc
just pounce. it does it by it's own. but, you shouldn't pounce too long, as you have to get it on purple step by step. so, one short pounce for green, a 2nd for purple. well, these numbers can rise with the size of the prey
@@janbrud1956 if you want to flex with skills, then you should play a PVP game with ranks. or at least games with a most and foremost PVP community. like day-z, CS or any of that kind. that's what separates the boys from the man. to try hard in a survival game that has a PVP system which is based on unbalanced fights and a playerbase which plays the game more like a survival game is rather ridiculous to me

I was frustrated because of a lot of reasons, but after all the game is amazing, and i manage my frustration much better. PS : Skin to pay would be a great thing honestly, to maybe give more motivation to the dev. So to make short, i wrote many mail at first, and never got answered, so i called, and write again, they finally answered me that they didn't make the money they expected so they were reticent to improve the game at the fast speed. I found it so unprofessional, the same way they block the steam main discussion, because they were so many complaint and they didn't want the new player to see that could refrain them to buy the game. I think they don't know a lot about marketing. And a CEO who spit on customer to me is total 0. No matter the efforts and passion he invest in his game, i see it like a megalo. And you can see also in the patch notes and Dev blog, it's so narcissist. Anyway, thank you for your answer and i see clearly now

troodon takes a very long time to grow and is extremely weak. Must be 30 minutes, even a pig kills troodon
