This episode reminded me of the three Tay Son brothers in the late 18th century Vietnam. Out of the three brothers, it was the youngest who showed his true genius. And also the artstyle from when Pinkie was in space reminded me of The Little Prince.
This is one of my favorite episodes of the show. Partly because we get to see all of the Mane 6 (and Maud) shine, but also because the sibling rivalry between Twilight and Shining Armor reminds me a lot of me and my little sister.
I love This esposide but especially Spike. As a younger Sister I sorta know how he feels. Whenever we were kids sometimes I had good ideas but there not always listened too. Spike has two siblings which is interesting as I never releised that Shinning Amour is indeed Spike brother but of course at one they lived together. The same principles about listening and community with your friends and them doing the same for you, something that Twilight had to learn to do with her friends. Like Little kids playing a game, sometimes their ideas are radmon and don't always make sense or they don't always understand the game that the others are playing especially if they are younger or act younger than their age (I am looking at You Pinkie Pie.) *I must admit that I have also guilty of doing the same thing with my friends.* *Spike has it MUCH MUCH worse because he was also adoptive and never treated as an equal, they were polite to him but he wasn't one of them.* He never even got a sticker chart. I am also surprised about Smart Spike was, in the past with his lack of confidence I also under estiseemed him. Shinning-Amour: Street-Smart, Twilight-Sparkle: Book-Smart (+) Spike: People-Smart. Spike knows both of Shining-Amour and Twilight-Sparkle styles. He was also was able to get Luna to help. Luna also knows how Spike feels because Clestia does the same thing with her. I find it funny that Fluffershy mentions her brother to her brother and he was in this esposide but she didn't know he was one of those royal guards. As a little sister I know we got your back but we also often under estimated and that makes us as a strong aspect. It like playing a game of chess or simply connect 4, if you only play attention to one part of board, you not paying attention to other player and then they able to beat you. For the record, Lady Tremaine (Cinderella’s Stepmother) was the original stroking the cat villain three years before the first James Bond Novel “Casino Royale” was published!
This episode gave a new meaning to sibling rivalry. Baby Spike was cute and at 5:31 that was similar to PUUUDDIIING! Looks like Shining, Twilight and Spike are good at analysis and preparing for missions, like Nara Shikamaru in Naruto. And at the ending, it's good that Shining and Twilight are treating Spike like a little brother. But some fans say if Celestia and Luna don't stop arguing Nightmare Moon could return. And if Star Swirl is using the shards of Chrysalis's throne to protect the castle, that could backfire because it won't stop changeling magic, so Chrysalis and the villains could break in easily and if they have enough power they could shove the shards down Shinings and Star Swirl's throats. And if the underground entrances are sealed, there will be no escape for the ponies if the villains break in.

This episode is one of my favourite ones but the only flaw i had was that they totally forgot about the fact that you couldn't use magic to get into the castle like Rarity did when they were writing the episode
