Easy instructions and a lovely video. Thank you for showing the process slow which I like as sometimes people make things so fast! Hugs from England.👏🏻👏🏻😍😍😍❤️❤️❤️💕💕💕🐶🐶🐶🐶🇬🇧
Good evening Shellie. Always a pleasure viewing your magnificent work. This paper is just lovely. I hope this finds you and your family doing well. Have a great week. Thanks for your inspiration.
Hi! Your tutorials are wonderful! Very good teacher! I made the Heartfelt Creation wedding album 3 years ago for my daughter. It took me all summer but it came out beautiful. Thank you for your help I am going to try this one for a grand daughter. 💖
This may be the BEST tutorial I have ever watched. Your explanation is concise, leaves nothing to my imagination, and is extremely organized. Your tips are so helpful! I don’t make albums, but your techniques can help me make better journals. Thank you for sharing! 👏🏽💜
I just made the album, gorgeous! Thank you for your tutorials, they are easy to follow, your projects are always pretty. Stay safe, Catalonia, Spain. Thank you for sharing.
Beautiful album, wonderfully demonstrated, the best crafter ever for crafters of all skill levels. You bring along everyone as you patiently guide us to create. Thank you for generously sharing your time and allowing me to have your expertise in my craft space. Blessings, stay healthy, stay safe.
I've been admiring this paper from afar but might have to purchase it. The colors used in this paper are absolutely gorgeous. THANK YOU for the time you spend creating the albums and for recording videos of the process, along with such good instructions.
Hey shellie, just about to start this album and can't wait! Your tutorials are the best on TH-cam, thanks for such a professional approach to teaching your craft. You totally rock! 💖
I just purchased this stunning collection couple weeks ago. I actually think its tooooooo beautiful to cut apart, but I suppose I will have to work up to it. Beautiful album. I always recommend you to people asking for good tutorials to help them get started.
Beautiful album Shellie. The papers are gorgeous, would be very hard to cover up with photos. Thanks for taking the time to teach us and share your lovely albums. Stay safe. Jeanette, New Zealand.

Could you teach how you make the beautiful closures I have seen on some of your scrapbooks, also how you make the decorative pin used to protect your glue bottle! Thank you
Hi and thanks for visiting. The decorative pin was done by Debbie Vignola. She has a youtube channel and I believe she sells them. You can reach out to her and ask about them. The Dritz closures on my album are done in several tutorials. Generally the flat hook piece gets glued to the front of the album. when you are done making the album, the hook part gets done by stringing ribbon through it , attaching ribbon to the back of the album, and the hook comes around the side and hooks into the flat eye piece of it.
Hi Shellie. First thank you for the lovely albums you share with us all. I tried to make this one but ended up with more space at the back than you. all measurements were the same ,spine 3 inches etc. any ideas as to what i did wrong. Thank you in advance
I'm not sure what could of gone wrong. I would just embrace the difference and not worry about the spacing. If there is alot of extra spacing that's bothering you, perhaps adding a butterfly or flower (a small bit of bulk) back there will help achieve the look that it was "supposed to be like that" to accomodate your flower. Just don't place anything bulky near the spine. Happy Crafting!
Hey Schellie, like of verry mutch. But i am waiting for de proper gentleman, de de luxe collection have i . So i am waiting. Thank you also for all the other albums love thema all. 🙏
Hi Sabine. I did not do a tutorial with Proper Gentleman. It was a project share. I ended up making a tutorial with G45 Magic of Oz using the same format/ design as the Proper Gentleman. Here is Part 1 in case you'd like to use your Proper Gentleman paper for that design. th-cam.com/video/XD5l3lFvWtQ/w-d-xo.html
Very beautiful album yet again! Now this may be a trade secret but I was wondering if there is a rhyme or reason why or how you turn the paper sideways or backwards on and off and then measure and cut. I cannot figure out how that works. I know you cut it to get the most cuts out of a sheet but I am still confused.
I teach that way so I stay consistent on how I tell you to measure. I do want the most out of the paper too, so it's a combination of both. Sometimes I'm trying to not cut into the portion of a paper that may be used later so it stays long if I'm cutting a certain way.
Wow Shelly! I didn't even like this paper very much until I seen your album! Its gorgeous! I want to buy it now and make it with you! Another great album and once again, thank you for the free tutorials!
If you can't find the free PDF of Materials and Precutting Guide, please send an email to: orders@jshobbiesandcrafts.com and request it. It's free. All my files are stored there :)
Hi Shellie: now that you are going to publish anymore tutorials for a while, how can we get the cutting and measurements of the tutorials you already published. I was trying to get the measurements and cutting list of some that I will like to make and I am not does not connect me.
Hi Donna. The link to our blog/website is under the video in description area. Here it is too: jshobbiesandcrafts.com/blog/ You will find the download button for the free PDF there. Just scroll down to the Hortensia tutorial.
This is a very pretty album Shellie. It's been a while sine I've made an album. I just can't seem to get into it, but I really need to because I'm staring to get over run with paper. lol
You can use wider scor tape if you want for some of the applications. I sometimes use it to save time when creating albums. In tutorials I use 1/4" or 3/8" because it's easier to manage and cheaper to buy than the wider for some of my viewers. thank you for visiting . Happy crafting!
Mam don't mistake me mam can you tell me in which place are you mam. If I got a chance to come there I will meet you mam. Please mam please reply me with a positive answer mam.
I did reply to your other comment. :) You asked where we were located. Our store is located in Vancouver, Washington state USA. J&S Hobbies and Crafts.

I love your work but, there are not enough fold outs or accordion pages. Hortensia is a delightful album. I would love to see it made with more pages.
This album is actually a 8-3/4" x 8-3/4" with a 3" Spine. :)
