The opening was a wonderful insight into how this style of animation was made I would have never guessed that they would use such a flimsy type of paper
After a beautiful animation of Piccolo, Saxo et Compagnie composed by my father André Popp, Joop Geesing ordered him musics for The Travelling Tunes 1961, Philips Cavalcade: 75 Years of Music. 1966 and Life is nothing without Philips.
I am very happy to meet André Poop's son, I am Miguel Angel from Lleida Spain and I have André Poop's album The Taveling Tune, which his father and PHILIPS released, and we put this album in a movie theater 5 minutes before the session started. th-cam.com/video/HMm0Qn4A26A/w-d-xo.html and I have made this video of the disc, at the end of the video I have linked to a screen the original short I want you to like this video that I have made of the music of the father, of him and leave me a comment so that I know that you have seen it greetings from Lerida
@@angeldearte Dear Miguel. Thank you for your video ! If you appreciate the music of my father, I invite you on my Facebook where I present it, it would be a pleasure for me facebook.com/daniel.popp.31945/
Yes they are. Have you seen the others at www.dutch-vintage-animation.org? I Try to explain about 'the making of' and show what happened in the studios those days. Please enjoy!
@ Joop Geesink: understood (I was just hoping to rate and / or review via ICheckMovies and / or Imdb). Much thanks anyway (I will check the DVA.org site in any case). Keep up the good work!
Thank you for the upload(s), very crafty animation. Is there any chance this title and others by Joop Geesink will be added to Imdb in the future? That would be nice.
Thank you for your positive response. Due to poor quality of the copies and legal stuff I don't expext these animation anywhere else but here (and at www.dutch-vintage-animation.org ) :-)

Lovely!! Really really beautiful and so well made.. (for example, see how the fingers on the flute are perfectly synced with music at 8:30 )
Awsome, really cool.
