@@alessandra4930 I think this will be a really useful pocket unit to store the tour photos and descriptive text regarding the tour. Seems each piece of ephemera has a purpose. Well I seem to be able to find a special use.
Whilst watching your videos this morning it occurred to me that I am going to put together an exercise book or journal with a sample of the unit discussed and notes and usage suggestions. I stopped the video to look for some paper, what a nice pocket. I'm tearing an example with a piece of white paper. So now I've written it on my example. hope it works. And yes i like to make a zigzag or a length stitch with the machine. but i often forget so i wrote this on my example. was again a nice video and you always explain it very well. very nice to watch. this is a very nice pocket

Oh yes please do a masterboard and journal. Cover making is my biggest fear for some reason. I think I was scarred from having to cover all my books when I was school ,!

I love the way you let the old book pages show in your projects. I hate the thought of completely covering beautifully aged paper. Different fonts and colors of paper are so pretty.
And I never would have thought of how to use the blueish paper but it's fantastic.

@@joiedefi Hi Joie. I bought the Purnell’s Book of Nature. It’s a large book. And then I was just inspired to buy the sketches of birds. I love those images. You have so many great videos and I want to know how to use the larger pages. I also liked your video on making a folder except that I need to make a folder that is much smaller. I am thinking of making a journals with various ideas on how to make interesting pockets. I don’t have large text pages except for very old books that will probably crack when bent. And they are not as large as your Spanish dictionary pages. Right now I am preparing for a pop up and a artisanal fair so I am waiting till next week to play before I prepare for another pop up in June. Thanks for all your help!!

Oh, and your new trimmer is really good for trimming photographs! I like to take mine when I travel. Of course I can't go anywhere without taking some sort of paper craft!
I sprayed onto the card with my mica spray... it's in a recent video but I can't remember which!!! I put the card stock into a cardboard box and spray about 5 times...let it dry then repeat. The glimmer is sumptuous!! Love that trimmer!! 😁👍🏻❣️
Very enjoyable video, Joie, and I always learn a lot from your videos. As an aside, I don't use stitching in my JJs or tags, etc. I don't care for the look, and can't be bothered to get out my machine in any case, although I do occasionally draw in fake stitch lines in the right spot. I sometimes like the added texture of an occasional snippet of fabric, like tulle, but stitching, whether for structure or for decoration, doesn't appeal to me. (You did ask!)

I hear that folk run the washi tape over a glue stick as the adhesive isn't as strong as it should be. Do you do this as well? I was looking at the leaves and thought, "surely you didn't fussy cut those out yourself!" AAh! a leaf punch - over to Amazon I went! Lol 😆 Hmmm, can't see one that is as large as the leaf you are using? Found something I can use here in Australia. It'll do 😊 Like these as they are simple. Thanks for the tutorial.
Some washi needs a bit of extra help...but mostly I give it a good burnish with my nail if it's not sticking. The leaf punch is "Woodware"....I find things like this second hand on eBay..sounds like you're having a fabulous time...keep rocking it, your enthusiasm is awesome 😉👍🏻😁🌿💜

So I made something similar to this project but inserted folded (to fit) old-looking lined paper for journaling - instead of ephemera, into the pockets, as well as for the notebook.

I used them in a recent junk journal... One of the videos entitled "15 pages ....". I just glue them onto a page. ❤️
I LOVE sewig paper. I often sew my signatures together which is an easy way to make on which can then be basically tied to a cover.

Is there a way to post a picture of a pocket for you? I’m trying to see if you are the person who made the tutorial for this particular pocket I made 4 of them but don’t remember how I made them. Using 1 piece of paper and and having 3-4 tucks. I searched all of your videos I’ve saved and didn’t find it. It looks like something you would have done. I’ll send you the picture if you can tell me how to. I’ve sewn the side so I can’t take it apart easily.

I absolutely love your channel and have subscribed. I am new to junk journals and trying watch and understand so many techniques. So much fun but lots of questions too. I love the little notebooks you made for the pocket journal, but would you actually write in this little notebook? Some of the pages are not plain or very dark.
