FYI, medic shield arguments aren't fallacious for two reasons: 1. Shielded crew can (and often do) offer themselves up as bait (Junk even says something along those lines while looking for dangerous places to be) 2. The maths actually supports them (short version of the maths block, my original got shadow-deleted): Assume 15 players, 2 imps, you medic, 11 live players including you P(imp) = 2/10 (10 unknown players, 2 imps) P(no flash | ¬imp) = (12/13)(11/12)(10/11)(9/10) = 9/13 P(no flash | imp) = 1 P(no flash) = 2/10 + (9/13)(8/10) = 49/65 by total probability law P(imp | no flash) = (2/10)/(49/65) = 13/49 ≈ 26.5% by Bayes' theorem Our observation *increased* the chance that the shielded player is an impostor
I'm still gobsmacked by the number of imposters who attack (5 times!) into a medic shield and don't immediately realize that the medic is buttoning two seconds later to out you.
i love the chaotic subplots/highlights in this game - steve desperately trying to get votes (6:27, 18:50) - ovilee killing and morphing with zero sus * 3 (2:56, 7:18, 11:59) - kimi almost getting caught unswooping (12:10) - koji goes unmuted and only hafu (and courtilly) picks it up (13:52) - steve getting bodied in real life as well (19:45) - im with koji, wtf was everyone saying (22:40) - the last meeting: koji's masterclass in gaslighting (25:12) also the fact that koji didn't get guessed as medic??? koji W

Reminder (because people keep making this mistake) that "the person with the med shield hasn't been attacked means he's sus" is terrible logic. Think about it. EVERYONE who still alive in the game hasn't been attacked, so by that logic you should be sus of everyone.
Yes, but everyone who's dead *has* been attacked, and the person with the med shield is special in that they can be attacked without dying - it's like the Monty Hall problem, the information gained makes the outcome more likely

In the Monty Hall Problem, the person opening the doors has information about the doors, which allows you to use their behaviour to also extract some information about the doors. In Among Us, the killers have no information about who is shielded which means they are just as likely to try to kill them as anyone else. You can't extract information from the imposters from whether they attacked a shielded person or not because THEY DON'T HAVE that information. (and even if they did somehow magically suspect that Junk was shielded, they wouldn't try to attack the shielded person would they? They would do the opposite and AVOID attacking the shielded person)
Try calculating the probabilties yourself. As an example, look at the meeting at 3:00 where there were 12 alive and 1 dead, and compare it to the meeting at 14:00, where there were 8 alive and 5 dead. And assume for simplicity that there are 2 imposters and no neutral killer (technically the players don't know the jugganaut is dead, but assume we know for simplicity). At 3:00, every other player has 2/11 chance to be an imposter, and 9/11 chance to be crew/neutral because there are 2 imposters and 11 other players. Now by the time the meeting at 14:00 comes around, the killers have attacked 4 times, none of the attacks being on Junk, so yes Junk is more sus. If Junk was crew, there would be 4/9 chance he'd have been attacked and a 5/9 chance to not be attacked, whereas as imposter there would be 100% chance of not being attacked. This means the odds of Junk being crew have gone down from (9 to 2) to (9 * (probability junk hasn't been attacked as innocent) to 2 * (probability junk hasn't been attacked as evil )) =( 9 * 5/9 to 2 * 100%) = (5 to 2). Going back to probabilty, that means Junk now has 5/7 chance of being innocent and 2/7 chance of being imposter. That is higher. He is indeed more sus. ... but now do the same calculation for every other player in the lobby. Kimi also had 5/9 chance of being attacked if she was crew but didn't, so her odds have also gone from (9 to 2) to (5 to 2). Hafu has 5/9 chance of being attacked if she was crew but didn't, so her odds have also gone from (9 to 2) to (5 to 2). Same for EVERY player still alive in the lobby. Every player in the lobby now has 2/7 chance of being imposter. So EVERYONE is more sus because there are still alive. Junk isn't special because he's shielded because that does not affect the probability that imposters will attack him.
If killing were random, then the majority of medic games would not see a flash before dying/ending. The shielded needs to be attacked before the medic is attacked, before the killers are caught, and (if they are a killer) before the opposing killers are killed. When there are only a few people remaining EVERYONE is more sus, but the shielded individual is no more sus than anyone else.
That thing with the thousand voices, I don't think it's ADHD but misophonia. The sound of dozens of people simultaniously talking is such a discordant cacophony, some people can actually get rage or panic attacks from it if exposed for extended periods of time.. like at a busy restaurant...
