If you want to see the full playthrough of this episode unedited, I'm streaming this on Twitch on Mon/Fri at 8pm. Here's the stream this was edited down from (www.twitch.tv/videos/2297156417). Will be live again tonight at 8pm CST!
You got outrageously lucky with the wrought iron drops from this episode and the previous one, along with a freaking bike chassis drop. In my playthrough I had to make the chassis and the handlebar myself. Took three in-game weeks to get the forged ahead books, iron, coal, etc.
Heya. Thanks for the videos and the mods! Real quick. Those pallets of cardboard boxes/end boxes, be axing those as you can. A GREAT source of paper (and a good rule of thumb, try breaking down everything at least once to see what it gives). Which you will need for the research desk, as it is part of the progression. Finding mags won't be enough. You will need to scrap and craft them. Focus on a few lines and just be ruthless in your targets. Also, there are a few more "pile" types, if you type pile in your search bar, which can help sorting (should allow a medical and ammo one to be made also at least). Scrapping dyes gives the paste of it's color.
Axing those leather chests also gives a chunk of leather oh the destroy swing at the end. Gotta be more selective on the books and mags you consume or it will be rough. Axe any posters you see on walls also for paper.
I’d probably run Knuckles and Shotguns. Scrap everything else and don’t bother with stealth. You’ll find heavier armor eventually. In my playthrough I run stealth and I found an entire melee set up(Heavy armor) that I can’t even use. My main mistake was not knowing my build at first so I have a few points in things I don’t need like Brawler books 😂 (I run silenced handguns/knives).
@WaywardEko agreed, I played sheriff my first playthrough, the struggle for food and water was still there but the baton made dispatching zombies a bit easier and having a 9mm as backup gets you out of sticky situations
@@WaywardEko Also, at 33:18 right before you spotted the beer store, there is a metric ton of booze in the last room of that strip mall ( on the right end of you were to turn towards it from the road)

Absolutely ... I'm hearing from people of pretty wild RNG swings.
The usage of music was great!
I'm thoroughly enjoying this series! @redbeardt did an awesome job on this overhaul!
Thanks so much! It has been by far the most challenging overhaul I've tried!
Great series, very entertaining with hilarious moments. Those animals hopping the fence 😅
Was hilarious for sure!

Now that you have a wrench, try to wrench the workbenches when you find them instead of axe.
Will do! Thanks!
@34:30 Barrels are VERY useful - they allow to free jars of wine, or beer (only one type in each barrel, mind) for gathering water for cooking ...
Absolutely! I ended up using them for my wine binge!
That mod is verry rewarding in my opinion : )
Hard but yes ... feels good when you make progress.

Yeah - I won't do knives in this mod because of the hitbox nerf. Normally would have been my preference.
You didn't choose the wrong class. They all suck in the beginning. There's tons of alcohol for you to loot until you can make your own
I think sheriff is pretty busted compared to the rest.

What mods are you using?
Afterlife.
