Videos like this I consider "Missing Links." They are very effective at explaining an alien subject in a clear, concise way. I've been looking at the atlases on the CC assets page for years, but never fully understood how they worked til now. This is going to give my games and renders a whole new vibe.

This is the best explanation of atlases I've seen. All the others I've found (and there are really very few out there) assume a basic understanding of atlases that I didn't have, until now. Thank you!

We can also create our own custom atlases using Sampler and photogrammetry techniques, yeah? Do you have an explainer video for that?

How strong is the anti-aliasing on the FXAA node in SD, and will there be more AA options/modes as well as levels therein?

Hey Unitoons! The FXAA node is moderate, it really depends on how 'strong' you think is strong. Usually a single node will suffice. There are other AA sliders and parameters you can adjust inside the node. If you don't think it's strong enough you can theoretically double up on nodes. There's also colour and grayscale options. Hope this helps

@@Substance3D Hey, thank you for your reply.
From what I've seen, the FXAA note is usually enough for most use cases, though I still find myself resorting to Blur/Bevel methods since some of the jaggedness may still stay even after a few iterations of the FXAA node.
Also, I wasn't able to find any parameters exposed inside the FXAA node - unless you meant the lower level logic in the source node...?
      Thank you in advance.

I haven't been able to use an atlas in a dynamic brush, to scatter leaves on a paint layer in Substance Painter. Is this technique in an exissting tutorial? Thanks@@Substance3D

Can we make an atlas animated sprite sheet with this methode, to make some splatter animated stuff for blender or Unity 3D and other game engine ?

Can't import substance atlas assets in substance painter?
Even though it is in sbsar format, it is not loaded even after importing?

Maybe talk about the program people actually care about, Painter ;)
