I was slow to catch on to the names there. Funny play on words.🤪
I’m still waiting on the feature, and the update in general, to actually be released.
Not sure what I would use it for but I would certainly play around with it, chances are I might have come up with this on my own?
    Thanks for the video.😀

I set the font color of the checkbox to red, and then using simple conditional formatting for cells equal to "=TRUE" set the font color to green bold. Works like a charm! Nice, short, clear video.

I Love the list of names!!! Whenever I am doing a play on words with names I like to add a middle name i.e. Helena Bonham Handbasket

I used this 2-3 months back. My check box ticked itself when a student completed his instalment payment. Basically it checks the balance column and when that turns zero, the checkbox ticks itself.. I used it for fun as there was no value addition in my situation. It was to learn how the checkbox works and I found it interesting.

Ben Dover?!? Really?!?🤣 You have a wicked sense of humour when it comes to name creation my friend. Here's a tip for you if you want a quick way to create lots of random names for larger file examples. Just google 1000 random names. There's a site with that name. Just copy and paste them all and use them as you want in Excel and Access.
As for your video... Short and painless. Easy to follow. The reverse function itself is cool. Excel just keeps getting better. Despite discovering Leila's channel first, I'll still check out your Checkbox video, if only to compare your different styles.

Agreed. I use those types of sites all the time to generate fake data. I've been compiling a list of names for years as they pop into my head that I think are funny. These were the names that wouldn't get me into trouble. Most of my funny names are inappropriate (but very funny.)
Leila is a very good friend of mine. She's amazing. I can only hope to one day achieve her level of success. She is a true Excel guru.

This has been in beta for such a long time and I’ve been working around not having it in a number of pieces of work I’m doing. Does anyone have an idea why it’s taking so long to release it?

No, unfortunately. I wish it would come out already.

Hey!!!! That’s a MUCH better idea than mine. I love it. I wish I had thought of that for the video. Mine may be better if the cell holds a number or date, but if it’s always text, then yours is better. Thanks for watching.

@@bcti-bcti sometimes functions are not always the best, but a simple Boolean expression like cell ref"" would be the best if you think of simplicity or number and text scenarios.

@@excel_along_the_way I think you’ve made it about as simple as it can get. 👍🏻
