Thanks for the pointing out the specific areas of the build that aren’t quite clear. You’re really making it look easy for everyone else when we catch up to you!
Commander112TC Sure, just a first time builder pointing things out. Hopefully it’s helpful and not too much complaining. I really am enjoying the build. Thanks for watching and feel free to ask any questions you may have.
@@AeroworksProductions you had mentioned that the rivet tip from Zenair will give a more domed profile than a standard tip that comes with the rivet gun. I was curious to see a pulled rivet from each.
Thanks, Adam, Well done. It will be great to see the products - anti-corrosion etc used and detailed costs on the build. Keep up the excellent work, Ewan (South Africa)
Adam I’ve used mineral spirits in place of goo off many times. Just let it soak a couple of minutes and the label will just about slide off intact. Just a thought.
@@AeroworksProductions thanks so much for the reply. I’m really glad I found your channel, and am catching up on your previous videos now. Great stuff, I’m glad to see Im not the only one who has had to drill out rivets and try again. Great channel, looking forward to the rest of your build. Any motor decision yet?
@@Andysvette Thanks hopefully you’ve subscribed. Not 100% on engine yet, might keep it secret for now. A lot of cool stuff coming. I put out at least 1 video a week on the build.
The plans show A6 RIVETS QTY 8, and the bracket has 8 top holes. I wonder if they assumed that's all anyone would need to know. But still odd that they're omitted from the parts list.
Good point Jason, I think sometimes the factory takes for granted that they know how to build the plane and others may be their first time. I'll keep a lookout for the quantity in the future when I have questions. Thanks for watching.
My Cruzer is at a similar stage . The bracket that comes with the finish kit looks the same .Mine bolts on with sixteen AN3 bolts .4 top 4 bottom each side .The bracket has two angles fitted front and back on the top with the big pulled rivets 8in total. The angle needs the corners removed to miss the bolts .The rubber doughnuts just miss the bolts if you point them outwards .This is a retro fit part for builders changing over from the bungee system .Your part might be similar .Thank you for the effort in posting the videos .
What engine will you be going with? Where did you find the FWF kit? I enjoy the videos. Ordered my SD rudder last Sunday and they told me it should ship by Friday.
Haven’t fully committed to an engine choice just yet. May have some interesting ideas for that so stay tuned. Zenith sells firewall forward kits for the popular engines. Congrats on the rudder kit. Great job👍🇦🇺

I would love to see a difference in the Zenair rivet tip versus the standard tip...
You mean the machined tip that you get from Zenith?
@@AeroworksProductions you had mentioned that the rivet tip from Zenair will give a more domed profile than a standard tip that comes with the rivet gun. I was curious to see a pulled rivet from each.
@@Ringele5574 Basically one is flat and one is rounded due to being pulled into the machines head. I’ll demonstrate in a future video.
@@AeroworksProductions Thanks
Nice work Adam. Glad you're taking the time to clarify plan questions with Zenith--builders that come after you will certainly benefit.
J W I appreciate it JW, trying not to be too critical, hopefully more informative with a little entertainment mixed in...

Thanks Adam! Very informative video, best advice you gave don’t stress call Zenith:)
Appreciate it. Thanks for watching!

Skip Deedon Yes another good one. I had 2 bottles of goo gone so I figured I’d use it.
Thank you for all the videos. What kind of primer are you using?
Rustoleum self etching primer spray can for small parts.
@@AeroworksProductions What about the green stuff I see in between some of the angle where it meets the skins?
@@tylerzillig5697 That is cortec done at the factory. It’s a water based corrosion inhibitor.
Hey. Really appreciate you putting these videos together, great to see someone else build! What type of primer are you using before you assemble?
Thanks for watching! For the small parts I use a Rust-o-leum self-etching primer.
