Most dont usually start out with Opera 2 but thats cool. Dimash is from Kazakhstan. He turns 28 this month and has been in formal music education and training since age 5. He sings 7 octaves in 13 languages and plays 8 instruments. He has multiple degrees in music and sings, neo-classical, pop, opera and everything in between. Er ist wirklich ein Superstar und vor allen kein Star der angehoben ist, ganz im Gegenteil seine freundliche und zurückhaltend sympathische Art machen ihn besonders. The song SOS, which he sung at this completion shot him to worldwide fame. He has been nicknamed by his country as the Gold Wings of Kazakhstan. I can't believe I'm 60 and it kicked alcohol and smoking and a lot of other bad addictions. However my brain is still hooked on first time reactions to just this one artist. Dimash has been my drug too for the last 3 years. I do spend a lot of time watching playing and reacting. I never would have thought the high I get from first reactions of just Dimash alone would be something I couldn't get rid of easily. I have actually gone a week as my longest time without watching. He currently has a vocal range of 7,7 octaves (C1(B0) - D8 off the piano) At least what he has shown us so far. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums and more. He has classical as well as comtemorary vocal training and sings in different genres from classical to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. And meanwhile in 13 languages (the new one is Ikanaide in Japanese). But many of my favorite songs are in his native tongue. He is a nice, respectful and humble person He respects people regardless of their original. Religion or profession. He truly loves his homeland Kazakhstan and his people with all his heart and always shows it with pride in many of his songs, concerts and rare interviews. During his concerts in Dubai and Düsseldorf before he performed War and Peace, he told the audience he loves all people in every country. And I absolutely believe this. But I highly recommend SOS from the same competition he performed Opera 2. SOS was the first performance of the China competition and it was his first appearance in this show. The Singer is a show in China where only established singers are invited to perform. Dimash was invited as the first foreigner as a wild card. He was still completely unknown in China. Actually, it was intended that he would only have 1 or 2 appearances. But it came completely different. The next day he was a megastar in China. He was just 22 years old at the time. He is from Kazakhstan and he sings in many languages while speaking only Kazakh and Russian fluently but English is coming in a pretty close third at this point. He sings in many genres, and as I stated many languages and plays multiple instruments. This was in China but he has sang in Japanese also. You want English and recent? Do Stranger from New Wave. I'm glad you finally got a small sample of Dimash. He was 22 years old at the time this was recorded. Be aware, this performance was simply for fun, not to showcase his vocal abilities. Sure, he goes pretty high in this cover song, but he can go much higher, and wayyyyy lower. If you liked this song, you're going to be mind-blown when you get into some of his newer stuff. There is a lot to choose from, so I won't make any recommendations. They're all good. I would encourage you to keep reacting to his performances in Singer 2017, and to follow his progression up to now. He's gotten soooooo much better, though that can be hard to believe. You'll see. It was a chinese competition of professional singers with 14 rounds. Dimash is from kazachstan and speaks kazakh and russian and few of other languages. He performed in several languages though. French, english, mandarin too in this show. Now its 5 years later and some of the songs are available from different performances in the web. Some pop, folk, classic, most mixed techniques. For example classic with Aida Garifullina from the opera of vienna.

Most dont usually start out with Opera 2 but thats cool. Dimash is from Kazakhstan. He turns 28 this month and has been in formal music education and training since age 5. The song SOS, which he sung at this completion shot him to worldwide fame. He has been nicknamed by his country as the Gold Wings of Kazakhstan. I can't believe I'm 60 and it kicked alcohol and smoking and a lot of other bad addictions. However my brain is still hooked on first time reactions to just this one artist. Dimash has been my drug too for the last 3 years. I do spend a lot of time watching playing and reacting. The Singer is a show in China where only established singers are invited to perform. Dimash was invited as the first foreigner as a wild card. He was still completely unknown in China. Actually, it was intended that he would only have 1 or 2 appearances. But it came completely different. The next day he was a megastar in China. He was just 22 years old at the time. Dimash Kudaibergen is Kazakh, he is from Kazakhstan, this is the former republic of the Soviet Union. Therefore, it is not surprising that Dimash speaks excellent Russian. He also speaks English and, of course, Kazakh. And he sings in more than 10 languages. He has been making music since the age of 5. He has several musical backgrounds, including classical opera. He plays several musical instruments. This is a 2017 performance at a music competition in China. Be sure to check out his other performances. I assure you that every time you will be surprised incredibly. Dimash never repeats himself.

He also plays several musical instruments. Did anyone mention that the man who did the fist-pump was his Dad? Dimash didn't know he was there. Dimash travelled to China without any family and was very nervous being without them. He was excited to see his Dad after this performance (there's a video that includes that part) but was a little worried that he was too 'cheeky' during that performance which might disappoint his Dad. It didn't. As they walked back to his dressing room, he asked his Dad if he sang okay? Can you even believe that? Dad said he was 'brilliant'. :)

Well that was only a small sample of what Dimash does. He was only 22 when he did this. He will be 28 next week and he has practiced since then. He is from Kazakhstan and he sings in many languages while speaking only Kazakh and Russian fluently but English is coming in a pretty close third at this point. He sings in many genres, and as I stated many languages and plays multiple instruments. This was in China but he has sang in Japanese also. You want English and recent? Do Stranger from New Wave. The performance is in Russia but song in English. The best in the world with a world wide fan base. You will get comments from all over the world. He is known as Dimash Qudaidbergen. You have no idea the stuff this man can do with that golden voice from opera, to pop, to popopera, to rap, to rock, ballads. Never think you have seen everything he can do because he will surprise you. Top it off with the fact he is very humble.

Dimash was invited to China to sing in a contest in China between professionals. It lasted several, several weeks. This was the second song in the contest. Dimash is multi-lingual and is fluent in his language, of course, Kazakh. He is also fluent in Russian due to the history of Kazakhstan. He started learning English on Singer and is working his way to being fluent in English as well. He sings in many other languages. He is incredibly diverse and never, never dull. He always surprises and I have been watching him for 5 years now.

Sure, he goes pretty high in this cover song, but he can go much higher, and wayyyyy lower. If you liked this song, you're going to be mind-blown when you get into some of his newer stuff. There is a lot to choose from, so I won't make any recommendations. They're all good. Suggest that u resist the urge for his more recent releases for now and visit this same show I Am Singer in China from 2017 where Dimash OPENED the 14 week long competition of professional Chinese singers vying for the title of Chinese Singer of the Year with his performance of SOS. He was a first time special non Chinese invitee that was virtually unknown but had a long list of winning competitions in other countries. He was also the youngest competitor ever invited. After his signature performance of SOS Dimash required bodyguards for the remainder of the show run. After the show, he released an album that went platinum in minutes and triple platinum in under 1 hour.
