  • Pacemaker exhaust Y62 V8 patrol with AVO Turboworld secondary cat delete pipes.
    This mod puts the biggest smile on my face and it does absolutely nothing… well nothing other than make the Patrol Sound awesome!
    It probably flows better and keeps the motor slightly cooler but that is just my assumptions not tested or proven.
    The inner Bogan in me wanted a V8 that sounds like a V8 and the pacemaker King Brown exhaust has done exactly that. We got only a centre muffler. There is an option that also has a rear muffler for those who want a quitter more subtle sound.
    We also did AVO Turbooworld secondary cat delete pipes at the same time. The main reason was to get rid of the tiny restrictive factory secondary cat pipes. Yes the patrol has 4 cats from factory.
    Over all this is a relatively easy job, all you need is basic hand tools. It will take a few hours, probably a little less with help.
    When you look at the factory system laid out beside the new Pacemaker system you can see how restrictive the factory one is.
    Obviously exhaust note is a personal preference. I love this but it won’t be for everyone.

    • @HappyGoTravel
      @HappyGoTravel  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @gehko22 there are 4 cats in a standard patrol. 2 each bank. I have taken 2 out. One from each bank.
      The first cat is right at the back of the headers (still in) and the 2nd are the 2 pipes I replaced. When I eventually do headers I will put high flow cat pipes in as the new headers will not have cats at the back.
      I hope that makes sense

    • @HappyGoTravel
      @HappyGoTravel  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey mate. If there any legalities in it, it would be with the secondary cat pipes. However the system does still have two cats in place still. My advice would be you will have no issues with legalities if you are replaced from cat back. But be sure to check you state’s legislation on vehicle modifications to ensure it’s legal where you are.
