I sold my Mako XL recently with few other large watches I had, now my watches are around 40mm instead of 45mm.
But this watch was really beautiful, proportions and the design are beautiful, but really large and heavy.
I miss it although it was cumbersome to wear, that Omega-like inner silver ring on the bezel looks great.

I have this watch. I love it. Doesn't wear big because there's alot of bezel (thick bezel). I have a 7.1 inch wrist ,approximately, and it wears very well on me. At it's price point, this watch is a STEAL. Awesome review with great size comparisons! Keep up the good work!😉👍

Very good review. Just got the orange bezel version of this. Expecting it Monday. It's a big watch but it should be OK on my 7.8" wrist. I had heard that the lume wasn't exactly the greatest and don't expect it to match my new model Seiko 5kx for lume, which does indeed last all night, but at just 100m resistance I needed to go for a 200m model just to feel a bit more security when snorkeling and shallow diving. Look forward to seeing your other videos. BTW, the box is different in Europe, more square with no steel top but a nice spring loaded top, black velvet inside and set on a black velvet type watch holder rather than a pillow. Yours is nice too. Orient certainly make nicer boxes than Seiko!

Nice review of a watch that deserves more attention. I have the full loom dial, and I love the cream dial in daylight too! Looking for a Kamasu next.

A beautiful solidly made watch. Is it true that it has a severe weekly deviation?

How about the movement? Can we make self winding like Seiko watch, for power reserve.

Good buy? I want this. I want something similar to Rolex deep sea

mike arkous Great buy, even better if you throw in a Saphire Crystal. I’ll be doing a how-to saphire install video on my Mako XL soon. Another lower cost alternative is the Pagani Design 43mm homage:

Watch Counter thanks. I’ll be sure to check it out. Btw you brink this will fit invicta pro diver? 20MM Solid Oyster Band Bracelet for Rolex Submariner with Glide Lock Stainless S www.amazon.com/dp/B07SWR4PFT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_I2FoFbXE5K2FN
I want a Rolex style bracelet.

mike arkous You’d have to ask the seller on that one as every watch is a little different on the end links, but for $20 more the pagani design comes with that style bracelet included
