That Flip is a WILD MAN!! Zoe & Koby are like “uh...no, don’t think so. Y’all are brave moving w/three dogs & a baby. When my pup lost his sight, we were told by the vet to keep his area small to begin with so he didn’t become overwhelmed. As he became more accustomed to his surroundings, expand his area. Seeing the amount of yard/property you have I’d put him on a leash and walk him around the area until he gets the lay of the land. To much at one time is only going to frustrate him & he might shut down. You could also get a buddy harness & put him and Flip together. Flip could be Koby’s seeing eye friend for the time being. The name of the game is patience, patience, patience. It could take him anywhere from a few weeks to a few months to be fully accustomed & comfortable with his new home. Good luck & many congrats. Hang in there Koby, you’re gonna be fine buddy.
Saw very interesting story on 60 minutes about a blind architect by the name of Chris Downey. He was an architect before he became blind, but has continued his career by designing spaces using different textures on the ground and different sounds through the use of canopies, blank spaces, etc. I think Kobe will need different textures in the yard (grass, gravel, stones, etc.) and rug textures in the house. You can also use his sense of smell outside with the use of fragrant plants in certain areas so he can smell boundaries. Can't wait to see how you progress. Wish you all the very best.

Your Pops is really creative so I'm thinking he can next level a Kobe "Easter Egg Hunt" with your friends. With such a large property, I bet you could have more permanent stations you could go to for safety and hanging out. Of course, there should be bacon infused smoked wood used to build the walls so you can find it easier and enjoy while inside. I bet you would also appreciate the words to describe any flower bushes around. Then you would know exactly where each place is and can go there when the word is spoken.
