Funnily enough, that Rupee Masae thought had disappeared was actually collected when she swung her sword against one of the pots. If you look really closely, you can see that the pot she smashed contained a heart.
Oh I know how Mesae feels. Every time you boot up the game it acts like you forgot what each color rupee is. 4:05 Lol Just like Chuggaaconroy in WW. That's gotta be come a thing on Deviant art.
Believe me it is way worse in skyward sword wii: The textboxes go incredibly slow, they are unskippable, and the text shows up every time you get a collectable or insect after turning your game on. In Twilight princess they only show up for ruppees {Blue, Yellow, Red, Orange, and Silver}.
I like to think that Link must have a form of Alzheimer's or something, and even when Link is in an intense battle against some really tough enemies, he finds a rupee and goes, "Wow! This rupee has quite a high value!".
Actually, they did fix it in Skyward Sword... for Rupees. Treasures, on the other hand, will happily remind you what the thing you are carrying several hundred of is when you pick one up.
one of the biggest problems with this game. and this is the kind of shit we come back to every time we turn off the game. and Nintendo wonders why people get upset when they tell them to turn off the game every half hour
The funny thing is, if this was supposed to be a glitch...why did the exact same thing happen in Skyward Sword years later? Also; the game is hypocritical - why not tell me what a Green Rupee is every time I boot the game?
truepixartronphan Sadly, I have no first-hand experience with Twilight Princess, but if other item pick-ups don't bring up introductory messages every time you restart from a saved game, then I'd call it a glitch. (If they do, then it's just an annoying design choice.)
truepixartronphan And Zarquon knows there have never been any of those in the history of Zelda games. _(cough)_ _(hei)_ _(lissun)_ _(cough)_ (see also PCull's magnificent "SHUT UP ELMO" collection)
Mcwisa It's not so much a glitch or a poor design choice as a developer oversight. Pretty much, it comes down to the game not actually saving the flag that says "Oh hey, you've already seen this. I'm not going to show again"
Mesae is to "Unnecessary Text Boxes" as HCBailly is to "Guardian Acorns." What do they have in common? They're both from Zelda games. Coincidence? Probably.
as much as this moment is good, nothing beats StephenPlay's "YOU GOT A BLUUUUUUUUUUUUEEE RUUUUUUUPEEEEEEEE" moments
Chris Koraltan yeah but don't forget "YOU GOT A YEEEEELLLLLOOOOOOOOWWWW RUUUUUUUUUPPPPEEEEEEE"
What about Tim's/NCS's 1 rupee scream from his Wind Waker lp? Or Chugga's "I won by one coin" moment during TRG's playthrough of Mario Party?
Chuggaaconroy is going to compete against unnecessary text boxes.
1:17 was the best one. Trolololololol.
BigKlingy I know love that part
BigKlingy That and 3:09
Funnily enough, that Rupee Masae thought had disappeared was actually collected when she swung her sword against one of the pots. If you look really closely, you can see that the pot she smashed contained a heart.
none realizes that the one that she got WAS the one she said dissaperd because your sword can pick stuff up
I love how she trails off. "You got a ru...PEEEE...."
Oh I know how Mesae feels. Every time you boot up the game it acts like you forgot what each color rupee is.
4:05 Lol Just like Chuggaaconroy in WW. That's gotta be come a thing on Deviant art.
it was bound to happen to her, she is basically genderbent Chuggaconroy anyways.
DONT MAKE FUN OF DEVIANTART
is it me or does this phrase get funnier every time she says it? :P this is just awesome
God I remember watching this LP as a kid and laughing so hard at Masae constantly being pestered by the textboxes. Masae never fails to crack me up
You got Hover Boots!
You got a Hookshot!
You got a Rupee!
You got another Rupee!
You got the Text Box Gun!
: )
Shut up omachao
Believe me it is way worse in skyward sword wii: The textboxes go incredibly slow, they are unskippable, and the text shows up every time you get a collectable or insect after turning your game on. In Twilight princess they only show up for ruppees {Blue, Yellow, Red, Orange, and Silver}.

All that twilight has been messing with his head. 😂
Can’t believe this is the fist vid I watched of this channel… and I keep coming back! Thanks Yuki
Masae never fails to entertain in an unintended way. XD
Be like Chuggaconroy
Counting the redundant explanation
The irony is, when "Skyward Sword" was created, the creators never got around to correcting that glitch. ^^
Implying it's a glitch, and not just the developers not realizing how annoying it is.
Actually, they did fix it in Skyward Sword... for Rupees.
Treasures, on the other hand, will happily remind you what the thing you are carrying several hundred of is when you pick one up.
@@kevinr.9733They fixed the treasure redundancy in the HD version of Skyward Sword.
Well, it looks like this was finally fixed in Breath of the Wild
Before Chuggaconroy’s Skyward Sword...
Well, at least this was fixed in Skyward Sword! Right? Right?
zedersteel NSSmod
Yup, the problem with the Rupees is fixed.
Materials, however...
zedersteel966mod WRONG!
The answer to that year-old question is... Chugga's LP of Skyward Sword.
well, they definitely fixed it in BOTW, so that's something
So this is where Emile got it for his Skyward Sword LP
masae, your chugga is showing
1:20 let be honest, that blue rupee teleported to her
I hate laughing at Masae's pain but damn this is too funny!!
My favourites are where she starts happy but then remembers the consequences of greed
This was one of my first let's plays to watch on Masaes channel
What sucks that this kind of redundancy comes back in the Wii version of Skyward Sword
I too, know the inconvenience that this is... it's been a while since I've played Twilight Princess, though.
"Unnecessary text box" vs "You got a blue rupee"
LOL at that last one. It looks like a selfie.
These moments reminded me of Chuggaconroy kept calling the “Big Key” the “Boss Key” XD
that's why I love her
The last one reminds me of Emile failing to do the Wind's Requiem.
2:47 “‘I should stop while I’m ahead’” me whenever I’m trying to play my game and having to pause it because I need a drink
I've always hated this. It shouldn't feel the need to constantly remind you what the values are.
Unneccecary textbox!!! *Slams table*
As someone who hasn’t played twilight yet all I know that sound from is botw
You got a blue Rupee (5)!
You got a yellow Rupee (10)!
You got a red Rupee (20)!
Everybody forgets what a blue rupee is anyway
Almost started channeling Beaky Buzzard there.
Who here's watching this because of Chuggaa's Skyward Sword LP?
The 3rd Option the curse has spread
The 3rd Option Redundant Explanations
Lol yep oh btw u got a blue ruppee (5)
Me
I'm going have fun with this box in my LP of this game!
***** Good luck in not losing your sanity. XD
Please, I done Skyward Sword (almost at the finale battle) and I didn't lose my sanity over the treasures
***** Oh. Well, good job then! XD
Just teste some TP things and Remembered this, Love this playthrough
I've never played Twilight Princess but that can't be healthy
it's mostly the blue and yellow Rupees more than the others.
Brendan Beta, it's consequences.
Unnecessary text box is the greatest enemy of Hyrule
I can't stop laughing.
Hopefully Twilight Princess HD will fix this. C:
So was it fixed?😆
Haven't played it yet~!
Yea me neither. I'm too poor
It was fixed.
one of the biggest problems with this game. and this is the kind of shit we come back to every time we turn off the game. and Nintendo wonders why people get upset when they tell them to turn off the game every half hour
it happens in Skyward more or less as well ;p
Me whenever my "OSD locked" message keeps showing up on my monitor.
Lol r u gonna make one for chugga skyward sword lp
This sounds familiar...
So it's like Chugga's Redundant Explanations?
Yeah, I don’t know why they put the infamous glitch with the Collectables portion of the Gear menu when you start it up
In which we see how many time she reset the game.
The funny thing is, if this was supposed to be a glitch...why did the exact same thing happen in Skyward Sword years later?
Also; the game is hypocritical - why not tell me what a Green Rupee is every time I boot the game?
It never bothered me. Am I alone in that? Or were my playing sessions just that long that I didn't get them that often?
2:26 4:06 best ones
Wait this is a glitch?! I thought it was intentional since 2006 XD
No, it's not a glitch.
The description deceived me and so did the comments then~
It is a glitch. It was fixed in the HD version. Also, the fact that it only "forgets" when the game's turned off is very suspect.
I guess she turns off the game a lot lol
1:03 unnecessary information!
By the way, you got a yellow rupee
Thank goodness for the Wii U remake because that was Annoying.
#TwilightPrincessProblems
also, this was a glitch, you say?
truepixartronphan Sadly, I have no first-hand experience with Twilight Princess, but if other item pick-ups don't bring up introductory messages every time you restart from a saved game, then I'd call it a glitch. (If they do, then it's just an annoying design choice.)
i looked it up on Zelda Wiki to see if it counts as a glitch, and it wasn't mentioned, so my money's on "annoying design choice."
truepixartronphan And Zarquon knows there have never been any of those in the history of Zelda games. _(cough)_ _(hei)_ _(lissun)_ _(cough)_
(see also PCull's magnificent "SHUT UP ELMO" collection)
It's definately not a glitch. I t happens every time when you restart.
Mcwisa It's not so much a glitch or a poor design choice as a developer oversight. Pretty much, it comes down to the game not actually saving the flag that says "Oh hey, you've already seen this. I'm not going to show again"
