Thanks James. Was that recent? I’m on their show every so often but not in a little bit now. Was it on recruiting?

Agree, that it is critical for RU to have a successful season this year, in order to retain this excellent recruiting class of 2025!

I love your clips!…Just one correction. The comment referring to the 2005 football team having the track team in the backfield is partially incorrect. One member of backfield who ran track as well was Joe porter who was one of the leaders in interceptions in the big east in either 05 or 06 and went on to play for the Green Bay Packers (beast!!..)He did not get smoked. The other members of the big east championship 4x100 relay were all track only guys. Multiple football players tried out however didn’t make the relay. You are 100% correct that football speed and track speed are COMPLETELY different however I’m obligated to stick up for that great track and field relay team…lol

"It's good that Flip Dixon is slower"!?! Sorry kid, but i don't think there is a head coach for any football team on any level that would share the sentiment that they would want any of their players to be slow. I guess Aaron knows this guy pretty well, and feels this guy has a lot of college recruiting knowledge to some degree, but i repeat, there is absolutely NO football coach that would agree that you want a player to be "slower", no matter what his reasoning is. Then to suggest there is going to be some attrition and we should prepare for there to be a shake up in the locker room because that's normal is absurd.
I'm glad this David guy is not a real journalist, because he would get no credible interviews. He absolutely has very little knowledge about the reason recruits commit to Greg Schiano.
GS has repeatedly said that this is a developmental program, and it's about how hard his players are willing to work for a spot so to suggest that GS recruits these kids with a large part of that reasoning is because some recruits might opt to go elsewhere is ridiculous.
Yes kids do sometimes change their minds but to suggest that they are so many players being recruited because of a morbid fear that GS has to recruit this way because some are going to leave is an absolute atrocity, and it's very apparent Dave knows absolutely very little about the process.
I'll make sure to skip the next show that Aaron has him on.

Rutgers is going to get that blue chip ratio above 50%. Has to happen. The recruiting will go wild after 10-2 and the CFP this year.
