    I love my modern race cars but my vintage cars really do bring back a lot of great memories from my childhood. Rc10 talk is a great info source with tons of knowledge!

    I just found this video last night. I appreciate the coverage, signed up for RC10talk today. I've been out of RC since 2003 or 2004. Recently I have been buying parts and pieces of XX and XXX cars just to tinker with. So this was quite a happy coincidence to see pop up in my feed. I would love to make some regional vintage races or even a larger vintage race. Looks like a lot of fun.

    Im still building RC10's. Haven't done a worlds car yet, kinda got into the RC10T's. I have a little backyard track and I run a gold pan with a brushed lipo setup. I even run the original tires and wheels. What a blast!

    Just picked up my first rc i ever owned. A mugen bulldog 2. Its near mint and im afraid to run it in a race. Part of me hates that it will become a shelf queen but i would hate to break anything on it.

    I'd love to see a vintage class at some of these bigger races, maybe something simple like 21.5t or 17.5t 2wd pre 1995

    I have an old RC10 goldpan car, and yes parts are hard to come by, and the ones you do find are expensive. Even my B3 and my b4 cars are getting pricy for parts.

    I was just given 4 vintage RC cars that work with the original huge radios I’m into modern RC’s crawlers & bashers I’m not sure what to do with them there like antiques but work the Losi has lettering on it sayingTeam Losi Xx4 WorldsEdition on it. The other two are Team Associated older drift type cars that look like maybe Nissans.

      Will never happen because apparently "sTaDiUm TrUcKs SuCk" according to most track scenes, and the manufacturers aren't going to release something that won't sell in huge quantities anymore.

    I have to ask this... why has RC racing basically been reduced to _just_ 2WD buggies? Stock, mod, vintage, chassis spec, regardless, that's all I see anywhere anymore, at least for the most part. There's some outdoor tracks that still run 1/8th buggy and SCT, but other than that, it's just 2WD 1/10th buggy. Even the 4WD class is kinda dead these days.

      @bevinsracing 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Where are you watching racing ? 2wd 1/10 is by far the least rc racing shown across the USA. Wrce,mod live media,liverc. All show the big events live for free on TH-cam. And mostly all 1/8 scale buggy/truggy and Nitro 1/8 truck/buggy.

      I'm not talking about big events, they're not representative of the majority of the racing scene because they're primarily hosted for factory-level drivers. Most local-level clubs are MASSIVELY dominated by the 2WD buggy classes.

      My local track still has a proud class of 13.5 4wd buggy, stadium truck and short course here in oregon. The 2wd buggy is an easier platform for beginners so most gravitate towards that chassis because everyone runs a 2wd car you can copy setup on. but the other classes are definitely still alive.

      "The 2wd buggy is an easier platform for beginners"
      I mean, if you're running on carpet your driveline doesn't matter (honestly, I'm not really a fan of carpet, I'd rather race on loam or a properly wetted hard-packed track). But on anything less grippy than that 4WD tends to be easier to drive, and is more forgiving of setup issues.
      Anyway, here in Florida, it's basically just "stock 2WD buggy" or bust at indoor tracks. You occasionally see mod 2WD buggy or stock 4WD buggy at bigger events but that's about it. Outdoor tracks have more variety (heck, we have people who run 1/10th nitro truck here) but significantly lower overall turnout.

    Put it back out again so i can build 1 new for the 1st time. All the RC10s i had over 30+ yrs all were 2nd/3rd/10th hand.
    Not this crystal clear shelf piece non sense.
