How does the plastic of your adorable custom soap scraper behave with the fresh soap batter? My brother recently got a 3D printer and offered me to print me some tools for kaleidoscope soap etc but i am afraid that the batter will eat up the plastic...
What kind of water discount do you recommend for this method? I tried my usual recipe and melted my hard oils with lye solution and I didn’t get near the working time I was hoping for. I’m a home soap maker that doesn’t sell my creations, but would love to improve my skill set a little more.
I use a 35% lye concentration so it’s pretty steep. It is soaping warmer than room temperature soaping. I do try and stick blend as little as possible.

what temperature do you soap at?? It may be the trick of the camera, :) but looks like you add your liquid oils right after you finish melting your hard oils with the lye solution. Do you let it come down to room temp before adding your liquids?

It was great. Easy to clean :)
I have a printer, the PLA plastic is really tough, not even acetone affects it. I would give it a try! :)
What temperature is your lye when you add it to your butters? I want to try it!
I add it as soon as the lye is dissolved. So probably about 200° 🤔

I do add it right after. I do not let it come to room temperature. After I add the liquid oils it is around 95°
