I really enjoyed this particular TH-cam because of the incredible "hidden" gem of a restaurant. One suggestion, to make it easier to locate this restaurant please list it in the details. Please do MORE of these kind of videos where You FIND hidden gems, whether it is a place to eat, visit, learn or experience... You have a Great sense of finding Great topics to talk about. Please continue to do what You do... Cheers !!
Thanks so much for sharing. Even the mundane for you is still vicarious living for us. Please keep em coming! Welcome back to SEA! And yes, we too avoid the states as much as possible… only to visit our son serving in the USAF. Thanks again!
Very nice clip, really enjoyed it. After living in Medellín four years and getting around mostly on my bicycle or the metro (don't like taxis and dealing with the traffic), I really get your point about having your own vehicle. I would definitely go out more often - especially at night - if I had my own car, as it would be safer and less hassle than other options. Very sweet digs you have there as well - really miss having that level of privacy and autonomy with my personal living space - in fact, starting to miss a lot of aspects of what I used to have in the U.S., but hope to improve the situation within the next year on that count.
Hey Ramze, great content! I missed your releases as you were back in the states. I've been living here for 4 months now a I do not miss it at all! I've used some of your tips to stay grounded here. Let's meet up for a cigar and chat one day, I live in Jomtien. Pattaya is a little to crazy for me. I'm still trying to get into a routine. I'm a sports guy so I'm up every Sunday night to watch NFL Red Zone then Saturday Noon watching some NBA games. I've seen both of the groups that you say to avoid. It's so sad to see so many old expats not doing well, just wonder where they made the wrong turn?? Most likely Women and Alcohol!. Not much of a drinker so I don't do the bars. I'm a retired police detective and I have never felt safer being here. I'm from Pasadena so I've made that drive to LV many times. Anytime I see some craziness it's always a foreigner. Thai people are really nice.
You are a braver man than I to drive a new car in PTY... lol... seen so many accidents... I would have thought the ideal vehicle is either a beater upper truck, or a SUV with the exhaust/air intakes above the cab, and water proofed package... Explored the lake area a while back... Liked the area by the polo fields... The "lake" dries out every year, and definitely needs a major works improvement to store more water... That coffee shop looks great... Need to make a visit to the area again...
I don't make a ton of money. I make more than a lot of people, less than a lot of people. What I make is not sufficient for a good life here in the US. I have a plane ticket to Bangkok in December. Going to stay for at least six months and see how I do. I know there will be a lot of difficulties, but I'm excited to at least feel like I can buy some fun experiences. Thanks for the video!
That’s a good attitude and I think with an open mind and some patience, you will find you can have a great life here for a third of what it costs there.
The service industry in Thailand surpasses anywhere in western countries. Add in the luxurant tropical growth where everything seems to thrive so you also have a beautiful enviroment. What's not to like.
Beautiful home, is that a rental? Was researching Bangkok but now need to add Pattaya on the list! How are the car insurance rates there? I have a MY and the rates in NY are astronomical!
Very nice. Seems like you live in a nice area and lead a comfortable life there. I'm wondering if you rent or own? Also, how much you pay whether you rent or own? I'm surprised you own a Tesla there. They accelerate instantly, as you know, must be challenging in traffic.
We rent the home. Our rent is 55,000 baht a month. I did a video tour and explanation of how I got it for so cheap. It’s a 4500 square ft 6 bed, 6 bath pool villa. I’ve been driving Teslas for the last 7 years. The instant acceleration is actually helpful here to get around slow traffic and out of the way at times.
I honestly haven’t paid much attention to it and was truly hoping they would never bring it here. It’s not my country though and it’s personally easy for me to avoid.
We would like to move to Thailand in the very near future. My partner, he likes Jomtien area, I prefer Bangkok but.... Anyway how far is this lake from Jomtien Beach rd? When we were there a month ago we stayed close to the new Arom project on beach rd, so you can use there as a reference point?
Yeah just had brunch for two, $48 and that was with $20 discount and I "only" tipped $8, so without the coupon we had brunch would have been $70 incl. $10 tip. Don't have to think twice why does it make sense to move to Thailand. Thank god my wife was born in Chiang Mai....Soon baby soon!
Thumbs up 👍 Ramze

Another great video
FYI the biking lane is 10km loop. I used to ride around it all the time when I lived in Thailand. I love it there.
I realized after I said it that it has to be much longer. Thanks for clarifying that!
You have opened my eyes and changed my life with your videos. Always choose adventure retirement v. sedentary, boring US retirement. Many thanks!
I live 600m from the lake with my Thai wife and our 3 children. Just subscribed to give you a little support.
Greatly appreciated!
Welcome back ! Was wondering what happened to you. Thanks for the great share !🤙😎

Incredible video! Keep it up
Thank you for sharing your day with Us!
One of my favorite spots!
Good set up reminds me of my spot in Malaysia … good to see you found a happy alternative to busy Bangkok which I love

We lived in Medellin before here and I totally understand your views. We are over shoebox apartments and relying only on public transportation.

Great kitchen you have
Can you please share where you purchased the coffee maker in your kitchen?

It would be nice if you could show us a little bit more of your house and what kind of price do you rent it. The house looks so good
Here is a full tour and price breakdown. A Thailand Mansion for The Price Of a Studio Apartment!

Home is a rental. I pay $120 a month for full coverage insurance. Didn’t shop it around. Went with who Tesla suggested.
Wow nice house

Hey Bro, would like to know anything you hear about the 5 new casinos that got approved for thailand. Or have you left that behind in LV?
I honestly haven’t paid much attention to it and was truly hoping they would never bring it here. It’s not my country though and it’s personally easy for me to avoid.
@@RamzeTravelsNGL smart choice but it looks like it will happen. 2 in BK, 1 in Phuket, and maybe one in Chiangmai and another location

I see Rameze was bruised and blooded by his trip to the U.S with the band-aid on his noggin.
America is a battlefield. ;)
