This tower is so op that i made it to wave 49 on expert. Lost to divines tho. To win, i bet the best loadout is mech, bug, lightbeamer, businessman, and electric. U can also replace businessman for farm for da money.
I use Recon Mech Bug Market and Lightbeam for solos. Recon is mainly for that extra support and BOF. However running Elec, Lightbeam, AND recon at the same time would be too expensive. (I would also have to ditch Market or Bugler for a early game which isn’t ideal at all.)
fun fact: the base enemies at chapter 3 have 50 HP *now, before you even think about the reward for tokens, beginners, chapter 1 elves have 20 hp each*
at first state it looks like a railgun that armor peirve throught infected to infected using a large amount of power carrying 2 terrawats and causing a beam of sorts that does peirce damage
I see people saying its too op or its might get nerfed. I think it fair for the tower to be this way as all event towers in most games but not all are hard and are supposed to be hard for the sake of your reward, I don't see the reason to nerf it, however I do agree that top path should be either reworked or buffed.
i only got sky islands and autumn falling done, did shangri la too but the game didnt count it as a expert+ so i have to redo it, i'm gonna get a few maps down before getting bliss, may god help me in this adventure.

Tbh at 3-2 and 2-3 it just starts to dominate but until those levels its just not good but you will argue that grasslands but its firerate is really slow even perfect spots can make you struggle
It was actually confirmed that bottom path is gonna get a nerf. Basically they’ll make it so that the damage per shot boost of the Bugler will not affect X-3 and X-4 Lightbeams. Oster really do be trying to make players use both paths lol
