    This has helped me so much, not least because I'm using that exact motherboard in my current build!

    So my motherboard HDMI port doesn’t work and I’m wondering if I wired it wrong or is it a faulty motherboard

    • @BuildsWithV
      @BuildsWithV  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It would only work if your cpu has built in graphics. You plug the hdmi into your GPU

    What if your case didn’t come with screws?

    • @BuildsWithV
      @BuildsWithV  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If it’s a new case they usually have a box of screws. These are the same screws you’d use for your power supply

    I have this exact motherboard I used for an all Gigabyte Aorus build. Specs as follows.
    1) be quiet! Pure Base 600 Window Orange case
    2) Gigabyte B450 Aorus Pro Wifi
    3) AMD Ryzen 7 5700G (just to have backup graphics)
    4) Gigabyte Aorus GTX 1080
    5) Gigabyte Aorus memory 3600mhz
    6) Gigabyte Aorus GP-AP750GM power supply
    7) Gigabyte Aorus RGB M.2 NVMe SSD 512GB
    8) Wraith Prism CPU cooler (might switch to a Gigabyte Aorus AIO in the future)
    9) Black and orange Formulamod Power Supply Sleeve Extension Cable Kit
    10) Seagate 2TB SSHD Hybrid Drive (for backups and storage)
    11) LG Bluray drive

    What motherboard and pc case do you recommend?

    • @BuildsWithV
      @BuildsWithV  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends on the budget and cpu choice. For a Ryzen build I really like the Aorus b550 pro ac or Asus rog. For case I love the lian li 011d evo, Hyte y60 or DeepCool a new case. I always look for good airflow in a case.

    Can you use electrical tape to cover unused risers? If not, is it easy to remove risers?

    Just a question, does the motherboard have to slot onto screws in the case or can it just hover above them and can be screwed in anyways

    • @BuildsWithV
      @BuildsWithV  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Some cases have 1 or 2 screws that it slots into but some cases don’t. It’s perfectly okay to have it hover above if your case doesn’t have the slot screws. Usually it’s just the center screw that might slit in and you’ll notice it looks a bit longer and the tip is thinner.

      @@BuildsWithV ah okay, thank you, no tutorial on TH-cam mentioned it. I'm building a pc right now with an Asus Rog strix b760a in a Lian Li 011 Dynamic case and when the motherboard was only sitting on top of the standoffs I got worried I'd have to replace them. Thanks again
