I believed in Santa for a long time. My father always sent letters back and showed me the route Santa would fly so it was quite believable. One Christmas, when I was around 9 years old, my grandma looked at me and straight up said "Well, you are old enough, you don't believe in Santa anymore, right? We can skip the hiding and just put the presents under the tree.". It was that moment that made me understand my classmates were in fact not lying when they proclaimed Santa doesn't exist. I acted like "of course I don't believe in Santa anymore" but inside I was sad the entire Christmas holidays. Fucking hurt.
That's pretty sad. I started thinking myself that Santa, the Tooth Fairy, and all of that stuff was fake. At some points my parents told me, and I'm like "yeah I already know that" lol

When I was 10, it was the Christmas holidays, the evening was coming, and when I was thinking that I had to prepare cookies and milk, and suddenly my father yelled at me and told me that Christmas is false, Father Christmas does not exist and he shows me the hiding place of the presents, they were in the cupboard just behind. The next day, my grandmother was disappointed to find out. All this for a Nintendo Switch.

Christmas day also happens to be my birthday, it's a running joke in my family to say Happy Christmas instead of Merry Christmas.

the origin of Christmas is when Jesus Christ was born into the world, he is the God that came down to this earth on this very day and the Israelites were so happy when Jesus Christ the messiah (which means the saviour) he was given birth by a women named Mary. He came down to the earth to die on the cross to bring forgiveness to the world. Why forgiveness you may ask? Because we humans are imperfect and have a sinful nature which means make mistakes every time and sins like murdering, hating, blasphemy against the most high God and people cheating on their wives or husbands. These are examples of sins. So Jesus Christ came down to earth and died for us so we can go to heaven when he brought forgiveness into this world however, it is the gift of God and just like a gift, a Christmas present 🎁 I can’t force you to have it, you have to take it and accept the gift/ Christmas present 💝 🎁 . 1 Does God really love the world?
Yes! God made the world perfect, but we humans
have rebelled against Him and ruined it. So the world today is not as God created it and we find that life can be very tough.
But God loves you and me, even though we have broken His commandments and deliberately sinned against Him. Not only does God speak of His love, but demonstrated it by sending us His Son Jesus to suffer and die on a cross, paying for the sin which we have committed.
2 Is Jesus God’s only Son?
Yes! He said He is God come to be the Saviour of the
world. He proved this by His life, His miracles, dying for the sin of the world and then rising from the dead, none of which we can do. Jesus is called Immanuel meaning ‘God with us’. He is the Saviour of the world, and able to bring us to know God in a personal way.
3 Is believing enough to bring us to God?
Yes! The Bible teaches that heaven is not a reward,
but a gift. Because Jesus has died for us, we can be forgiven, and belong to God forever. We are not saved by the good things that we have done, but through God’s love and mercy. Heaven is full of sinners ... who have been forgiven.
4 Is there life after death?
Yes! There is heaven and hell. After we die,
God really will judge each of us. Our eternity will be decided on whether
we have been forgiven and have been made right with God. Those who
have received Jesus, will be with Him
in eternity. Those who have rejected Him, will be rejected by Him throughout eternity.
Looking again at John 3:16, we see that:

when God loves, He loves the world;
•
when God gives, He gives His Son,
•
and when God saves, He saves forever.
•
Will you ask Jesus to become your Lord and Saviour? Will you ask Him to forgive and save you? Will you pray a prayer to God to put your trust in Him, and start to follow Him?
Dear God,
thank you that you know all about me. I am sorry for all my wrong. Please forgive me. Thank you that Jesus died for me. And, thank you that He rose from the dead. Please become my Lord and Saviour, and help me from today to follow you.
