LOl still dont think there's a single Rankin song that's just awful they literally are legends all the lot of them, bless em and really great people I'll bet too and oh so talented, they make me laugh its like I want to find a song almost that they'd just suck at, but it's nyon impossible, good on 'em too, are some utterly fav of mines of course. They are quite simply put or if I was to put my description of them into one single word (and that'd not be fair since there's so much I can say about them, all good of course) and that word being like another youtube user said 'epic' sums them up pretty accurately in my downright honest opinion, love hearing their covers too they're amazing!
I think that's why I loved it so much as a preteen. I love hiphop now and I think I always have but I was a dorky sheltered white girl lol. This was my main exposure to it when I was that age. Then I discovered 2Pac and Dr. Dre.
I used to LOVE this song when I was about eleven. I played it over and over. Wow, that sounds really dorky lol.

I've been to those Glencoe square dances, in the late 80s. And they were indeed a rockin good time. This is one feel good Rankin song!

Sounds a bit like Jerry Holland on the fiddle. Was he playing with the Rankins at the time? Can anyone confirm this?
