I don't know why this city is regarded as one of the most dangerous cities in the USA. It looks so calm, silent and perfect for everybody wanting to see something a bit more different and interesting!
Every city has bad parts to it - Baltimore is no different. Contrary to what the media portrays - Much of the city is beautiful and vibrant. Everyone knows to avoid the parts of the city that is plagued with gangs and drugs.

Me and my friends always just laugh about it. I’ve taken so many people to the city who have never been to Baltimore - and their reactions are always all the same. They can’t believe how different it is, compared to what it has been perceived to them in the media. Sure there are bad parts of the city - It’s common knowledge to avoid those neighborhoods - just like south side Chicago, parts of New Orleans, downtown Los Angeles, NYC, and so on… and so on…
