GG, that game 1 was fun. Curious to know why you chose not to attack with the Devourer of Destiny that one turn, since even if I have Bowmasters that's still not lethal. I also don't think Kozilek's Commanding the Bowmasters was a mistake, but I think you should have played the new ring instead of Talisman.
GGs. It was a very fun match. While the chances were small in game 1, I was playing around the possibility of two Orcish Bowmasters. In game 2, I had every intention of casting both Kozilek's Command and The One Ring. However, I forgot about the taxing from Damping Sphere. I was 1 mana short.
@@GILTSPIRE Right, I missed that in the reply, did realize it during the game though. I can understand playing around 2 Bowmasters, but me finding a draw engine into the 4th spike was much more likely at that point. But yeah, cut the 4th Break the Ice from the board for an Undercity Informer which never came up so was nervous when I ran into Tron round 1, but it worked out in the end.
I don’t think we’d seen any Orcish Bowmasters at that point so I weighed the odds. That said you’re right in that by not taking the initiative and pressing my advantage I’m was playing to not lose instead of playing to win. I appreciate the feedback and look forward to playing against you again in the future.
