@@bakuganbrawler200 Yes its loud. I own all Beats Speakers and this one blows them all away. Besides ofc the OG Beatbox but it aint portable whatsoever. If you like powerful portable audio buy yourself one
God damn this guy ain’t playing. lol he beat the hell Out of that pill. I appreciate it. I have the new pill however I don’t plan to travel with it much unless I get a customized case for it to avoid damage. I recommend traveling with the black one because any scratch or marking would be easier to fix or repair on your own. I usually take the pills with me when I’m going over to another persons home. If hiking or doing anything outside active I avoid bringing them. I feel they are more for an indoor experience than outdoor active. JBL I feel is build for both mainly outdoor.
@@juliancobain9970 Uhh no. The Bose when laid on its back opens up the sound and becomes a different beast. It's the best under $150 speaker along with the Emberton 2
Yup still have a pair of the Beats pill plus Bluetooth speaker & those are pretty rugged speakers & used the speakers a lot on my camping trips & works great with my iPod touch & iPod nanos I have & the rechargeable batteries still works great in those classic beats pill plus speakers!👍👍🔊🔊🙂🙂🔊🔊
Whichever speaker you use to activate Stereo mode becomes the left speaker per the directions and you can check this by panning from left to right in the accessibility settings. Use Stereo mode with your Beats Pill "Make sure that both Beats Pill speakers are joined together in Amplify mode. On the speaker that you’d like to be the left channel, press and hold the center button and volume up button until the light next to the power button turns blue."
I just ordered the black one. I’m only using that one at home or at work. I have a Bose soundlink flex for out doors. It’s a bit louder so that one’s perfect for the beach
I have a JBL charge 5, pill and I’ve heard the UE boom4. I love the look of the UE but to me. Damn it sounds empty. I don’t get much bass from it at all. So UE is completely excluded for me. The charge pushes more sound and bass than the pill but there’s something about the pill sound that’s just full and clear. Better than the charge 5 even. Charge 5 would be better for filling a room right up or going outside. The pill is great as an indoor speaker. Really happy with mine. Also the form factor and build quality/ style of the pill feels very premium and clean so I pick it up more often than the charge5.
Glad I came across your video. I was looking for how to activate the lossless audio. That’s the main reason I bought the speaker. Sounds horrible in lossless mode. I’m disappointed by that feature. Also with Bluetooth the bass cuts out at maximum volume (which is expected) but 🤷🏾♂️. The battery life really may be the best thing going for it. All in all I’m starting to wish I kept my soundlink plus 2.
Hey man, does the lossless quality only work with a single speaker via USB-C? Or does it work with two speakers in stereo mode even if the phone is connected to just one speaker via USB-C? Apple Support couldn't answer my question today...
I’ve been using my iPhone that has glass at both end for 4 years now but it still intact. How much more a beat with silicon and aluminum casing. It will last me 10 years and still be fine.
The design is indeed in line with most people's aesthetics, and the sound quality is also relatively good. Among similar products, this is one of the options to choose from.
I wonder about the differences between this one and the previous version Pill+. Except the IP67 and Lossless audio I think most of the features are more or less the same... They say its got a lot better audio but its kinda like saying nothing when its a speaker that size.... Anyway, great video! Thank you for sharing!
The beats pill XL was one of the best speaker Dre could've ever make. Sadly apple bought beats and everything went downhill. The lack of passive radiators is what makes this new speaker tiny in bass. Really hope apple invest more in beats and start bringing good speakers like Dre did!

Got this today and it good just keep the volume around 3/4 of the way up because at max the bass isn’t very good
You're so right, most reviewers are hiding the ugly side
I agree but I think this speaker is pretty good for the price
Better than Bose for the price

Been wanting Apple to make a cordless HomePod. Guess this will do. Hope it makes its way to SA.

You’ve been on it lately with the Apple updates
I'm buying it this Saturday asap the matt black one
Is it connected as convenient as the iPod pro to Apple devices? Easy to change devices?

I am wanting to pick one up, but is there a stand that will make it stand vertically? I had a JBL Flip 4 and I really liked standing it up vertically.

I can't get the reverse charge to work. But I do have a iPhone 12 Pro (Not usb-C) Is that why?
Whose kicking their speakers 😂
Great video
Shit is dope and durable! 🔥🔥
How do they sound paired in stereo?
Oh noooo I dropped it
WATCHING THIS BECAUSE OF YOUR CHEST, BEARD, FOREARM HAIR 😭🙈🙈
Does any one knows how to turn off the sound when switching the device on / off? Thank you.
It’s not IP68 rated it’s IP67 rated
What’s the difference between them?
Nothing. 1 meter in water was correct. It Was likely just an accident when the 2 number are very similar and he does say ip67 at the beginning.

How long do they last with full volume
4-5 hrs
Would have to test to find out but honestly 50-60 percent volume is enough trust me. This thing is loud for its size
