- Army Chief General Bipin Rawat, Air Force Chief RKS Bhadauria and Navy Chief Admiral Karambir Singh arrived at the Hindon Airbase, Ghaziabad on the occasion of Air Force Day on Tuesday. Cricket legend and honorary Group Captain Sachin Tendulkar also attended the celebrations of the 87th anniversary of the Indian Air Force (IAF) at the Hindon Air Force Station in Ghaziabad on Tuesday.

We Indians are so lame and behave like uneducated. Sachin Tendulkar is hero of India. Just because he is not old like dhyanchand , doesnt mean he is not gem of India. He is biggest sportsman of the world and this is because he alone changed the fate and stature of the game single handedly. He represented India like any olympian has.....Grow up Indians!

Why does an honary Group Captain sit next to chiefs where as regular Group Captains sit behind, he may be a famous cricketer but this just doesn't seem right, some of the other Group Captains may be having gallantry medals got in line of duty and here in an Air Force Day Parade you put him in front, what message goes to the youth who aspire to be fighter pilots and here a civilian given an honour rank out sits you, not good.

He has not earned this rank. He has just been gifted with the uniform. If celebrities get uniforms and ranks for free it is a great injustice with hard working officers who have undergone really tough training to get that uniform.
