Scargill Infant School open Mungo Park Road Co-op with a song...

Pupils from Scargill Infant School in Rainham were on hand to help mark the reopening of the Mungo Park Road Co-op in September 2024. The pupils performed their school song, "... the place to be" to an audience of parents, shoppers and staff members.
Head Boy and Head Girl of Scargill Junior School then cut the ribbon and officially opened the store to the community. They were joined by Chelmsford Star Co-op President Tony, and Store Manager Ruwan, along with teachers and co-op staff.
The local shop, owned by Chelmsford Star Co-op, is just a few doors from the school and is frequented by teachers and pupils with their parents every day..
