Again I say I enjoyed these Ladies often and their music! Can we get a new version of these wonderful ladies singing? I am a 71 year old fan of these ladies!
@@lunasky4697 Absolutely! In fact for a brief time they were even bigger than The Supremes. They helped usher in The "Original Girl Group Phenomenon from 1960-1964 before the "Original" British Invasion. Florence Ballard (1943-1976) even worked as a Substitute Marvelettes when one of the other Members quit. She even coached them downstairs when they were working on the track. Sadly enough, The Marvelettes, Supremes, were Two of Motown Girl Groups who died in poverty. Nedra Talley (The Ronettes) became Homeless as did Wanda Young (The Marvelettes). They weren't even invited to do Motown 25 in 1983, and their last major hit was "Don't Mess With Bill" written by Smokey Robinson. In the UK his early Song "Who's Lovin' You" is now a successful Audition Song. Whoever did the suggestion to do the song should have gotten a major bollocking. They should have done maybe "We've Only Just Begun" or "Stop Hurting Each Other". Cheryl Ann Tweedy from Girls Aloud was born on the same day as Florence Ballard Birthday if not Birthdate. June 30
WOW your performance of this song is truly incredible. I just love how you do this song which is better than the original. So entertaining. Thank you so much. Mark ❤
It's called Celebrating The Carpenters for a reason, so damn what if it's not what people expected, the girls looked as if they had a great time performing the classic hit, so should it matter if this version is rubbish or not.
Ansir Meethat The only problem I have is 2/5 of them are to me, not gorgeous at all, but that because for me personally short hair on a female is highly unattractive to me. To which I define short hair as not touching the shoulders in length. But everybody has their own what grabs their eye.
The girls did nothing wrong with the song. They did a good effort to make it their own version ofa classic song. Just because it is not exactly the same as the original does not make it bad. Very good adaption if anything.
@@TheEyeOfOdin1 The Carpenter's (1975) are not the original. Their version is inferior to both the original by The Marvelettes (1961) and to The Beatles (1963). All 3 of those are better than this mess.
This song, "Mr Postman", should be declared our National Song. Already a Classical song of all time.
Amazing Chicas!!!!!! Rock n Roll!!!!!
Beautiful ladies😍
The Saturdays are absolutely fabulous on any day of the week.
Eminem show
Who doesn't fall in LOVE with these 5?!
Again I say I enjoyed these Ladies often and their music! Can we get a new version of these wonderful ladies singing? I am a 71 year old fan of these ladies!

Excellent performance of The Carpenter song Mr Postman and a wonderful dance routine as well
It's originally by The Marvelettes. . But both versions just as good
These Gals are talented, hot and beautiful, the complete package! Wow! Great song cover too of a classic!
i agree
I LOVE THIS VERSION, THE SHOW AND THE CHOREOGRAPHY! IT RECALLS ME A BIT OF THE GIRL'S GERMAN BAND NO ANGELS!
AGAIN: I LOVE YOUR VERSION AND THE SHOW! LOUIS CELLAURO FORMERLY FROM FRANCE.
They're all beautiful, but Rochelle and Frankie look absolutely stunning in this performance.
Rochelle is the one with black hair ? Which one ? I'm a new fan
They did a bad thing.
Also, The Carpenters version is a cover of the 1961 original by The Marvelettes.
TheCrimsonChin91 But it was one of the carpenters biggest songs cover or not
Yes it went to number one in 1975. It was also acknowledged as one of many Motown Songs covered by white artists
laminage The Marvelettes are the original one's they literally gave Motown there first #1 in the 60’s like

Hello Marlene

No they dress like postmen
Jessica Fowler the men that jumped on stage and started dancing with them looked like police officers

Such a good song! I love the dresses!
They sing it SO well!

It always was - even before The Carpenters recorded it.
The Postman don't deliver on Saturday.
ha ha so funny
Postmen in Japan do deliver on Saturdays and Sundays.
What third world country do you live in?
@@mrdealx Stop that insult, you son of a bitch.
@@mrdealx Sorry, I take back what I've just said. I don't interact with brain-dead lice.

Cant beat the original classic
You gotta love the marvelettes
Karen watching from beyond how the autotune resource is abused.
Fantastic Saturday! Fantastic cover!
*The Postman don't deliver on Saturday.*
That sums up this performance
Just saying these ladies are awesome!
Belíssima..
Fantastic
I love how they performed
the songs is very beautifull..❤
Amazing. Wow love the dance routine :)
The Marvelettes were the original ones to sing Mr. Postman not The Carpenters. I love The Carpenters but the record should be set straight on this.
I totally agree!
The Beatles covered it also.
The Beatles were the 2nd. The Marvelettes and The Beatles were like the best of the bunch that did the cover.
It's "celebrating" the Carpenters - They didn't say it was their original song. Foolish comment.
Lovely ❤️👏😍🙏🌹
The Saturdays " Mr.Postman" 💝 Love it💋
You should try listening to the original by the Marvelettes! It's truly amazing:)
yea ^^
kayla079 l
Original yes, and lead had a nice guttural sound too-check out Human Nature's version :P
Honestly Postman Ever.. ❤
Best version I've ever heard. Loved the Saturdays since day one

Kayleigh Natasha yes, yes it does.
Kayleigh Natasha The hit is the Marvelettes sweetie not the Carpenters
@@lunasky4697 Sorry to disagree but it was The Carpenters who made this song famous
Lovely 💕💕
que lindo ....amei
Love this song so much m fave Saturday is Una and Vanessa
+Audrey Grace isn't it a really good song though xxxx
butchered the song with the beat they used
Very nice, so sweet 🤞💫🌿
So the short chick is gorgeous.. I have no idea who any of these chicks are.. but she seems part Filipino.
Ok, her nose is what tipped me off to being Filipino.. Now if only I could see her point with her lips then i'd know for sure LOL.
Audrey Grace Filipino women point with their lips. How can one not know what point with lips mean?

anybody know if the filipino girl is single?
@@kennethpoling4671 이름을 알려줬는데도 필리피노 거리네 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
wow loved it
Most of the time they aren't miming because some notes are off, I still think they're gorgeous and beautiful ❤❤
This is definitely not live at all 😂😂
i luv da satrdays
I usually love this song and these girls did good but I didn't love it tho sorry
sung very well young ladies, good luck.
....I prefer the older version...
me to 🙌💯
RedRaven 1386 check out the beatles version
The marvelettes can't be beat
Call me old fashioned but I love the carpenters. And this is one of my favourite song!. Mr. Postman :D
The Carpenters & The Beatles covered the original sung by The Marvelettes.
I love The Saturdays, but they were lip syncing on here.
0k
No they weren't, they actually swapped each other's original lines from the original audio
Lip syncing? Is that the replacement woke name for miming?
lovely

+TheEyeOfOdin your so right it doesn't. but the sloppy choreography and autotune does.
TheEyeOfOdin they literally forgot to say please when they said mr.postman
Okay 3 years later, realise its shite really. None of them come close to Karen's voice.
