He essentially pre-edits 2 digital files in advance so that there's always an underlying beat (or mix) and a new scratch sample on the 1 o'clock mark, and he favours left hand scratch, right hand fader. Not really complex at all of you really watch his videos... he bakes the cake at home and just adds (delicious) frosting for the audience.
It’s basically a 10 minute left and 10 minute right deck track loaded up. DMC dudes were pressing dubs like this for some time. Never has to change tracks or adjust tempo. Just count to 8 or 16 and wait for the switch.

the _animalism rane 12s and a rane 72 mixer, can be loaded with tracks and used like cdjs i think but normally connected to serato, the platter just works like any jog wheel
I think you you will find it's a mixture of years...long dark tunnel was originally 1993...a lot of the tunes were 96....Ez rollers tough at the top was 1998...etc.

this is not phase these are rane 12s turntables which are midi controllers that work with Serato.
