Gandolfini kissing Falco's shoulder after the win before kissing his own wife...then 5 years later he admits that he was still in love with her...Awww...what chemistry the two had! Best show ever, best writing ever, and best acting EVER... RIP James Gandolfini
And there's Jim all the way in the back where you can hardly see him. Someone less humble would have been right up front. God, I love him and miss him so.
The love that this cast has for each other is so apparent. Even the actors whose characters never really interacted. A show can't be as successful as this one was without that element.
2Dank 4U Christopher was an absolute degenerate piece of shit who had NO qualms about killing people. Whereas Jesse Pinkman was a completely misunderstood, broken and torn guy. The two are so so utterly different it’s funny. Their only similarities is that they enjoy the use of hard drugs once and a while lol
That is one of the most stupidest statement I've heard on the Internet. Christopher was a pure psycho - killing the waiter over a tip, killing a dog while high, I can go on lol. Jesse Pinkman was just a naive junkey.
1. The Sopranos 2. The Wire 3. Breaking Bad 4. Mad Men 5. Deadwood 6. GoT (first 6 Seasons) 7. The Leftovers 8. Fargo 9. The Americans 10. The Shield Best list you'll see
The Sopranos never used the "walk and talk" technique because David Chase said it cheapened the storytelling by fake emphasizing how "busy" the characters are and that it was a lazy form of exposition. Having said that, what do you see from the other nominees in the clip above? They used the "walk and talk" extensively! lol
It's a technique where characters have a conversation with one another while walking some place. This scene in the West Wing encompasses amazingly: th-cam.com/video/il-DowDFDo4/w-d-xo.html
I do remember one or two walk and talks during the series, such as Ralph and Johnny discussing Ralph being hit by Tony. So they weren’t immune but they kept it to a minimum.
Honestly as a viewer so was I! The show was so bleak and mentally exhausting. Brilliant. Best show of all time. But it was a true drama if I’ve ever seen one. I became so immersed and invested at times that I found myself starting to feel like AJ in the end.
The Sopranos is absolutely hands down THE best drama series in television history. On a side note, anyone recommends The Wire? I heard it was a "black-people" show, no racism intended, those are just the words they used.
Henry Picklevitz I've seen both, first Breaking Bad, then The Sopranos, and I have to disagree with you. Then again, it's a matter of taste... I just love mafia shit.
Qwerty Mierda but u gotta agree that 'The Sopranos' had some ups and downs in terms of seasons, and story arcs that did not go anywhere. plus I felt that they introduced way too many minor characters. Breaking Bad just got better season by season, oh and the finale actually gave u closure.
Look the other nomines. All characters a hero. But only anti hero is Tony. And today all nomines are anti hero in drama series. The Sopranos change tv forever!! Best tv show all time.
the best tv show ever i like breaking bad also but is to fresh in the mind i wanna see if they will remember her as this great five ten years from now like the Sopranos
Respect to therm all, but those other shows weren’t even close to being in The Sopranos league. That show changed television for the better, set extremely high standards and is still the best program in television history.
Literally the shittiest year for Drama Series ever. Greys Anatomy, Hero's OVER Dexter season 1!?!?!?!? I'm not saying it would have won Drama Series, but it had a hell of a better shot then those other two. Michael C. Hall probably would have won the Emmy...if he was even nominated...
+Paulie Walnuts I've watched breaking bad and i can say it's up there with sopranos it's in my top 5 just like sopranos it was a masterpiece. Better call saul is a good show too. i can relate more with sopranos because my family are Italians from NJ my grandfather came from Italy and they lived the same way as the sopranos minus the mafia that i know of
I basically view the season 5 and 6 part 1 Emmys as the kind of 'apology awards', like when they give out Oscars to directors or actors who should have won before whether they deserve it that year or not.
GiantSandles I agree with you but only partly. Season 5, on the strength of "Long Term Parking" alone, deserved the Emmy. But yes, seasons 1 and 2 should have absolutely won.
I think it should've won this one, but not the other two it won (not over shows like Deadwood and The Wire which were at their best while The Sopranos was at its worst) It should definitely have won for its first two or three seasons, though.
@@rohandas3573 Band of Brothers (though a miniseries), Twin Peaks, X-Files, Friday Night Lights, even GoT. There's a big variety that are all better. Very touching Comment..Just finished The Sopranos AGAIN .❤❤❤❤❤😢.MISS THEM ALL❤
I love how James stands at the back, so humble yet so brilliant. RIP
It's like even though he's the face of the show, it's the creators and writers that should get the attention for making such an incredible show.
And there's Jim all the way in the back where you can hardly see him. Someone less humble would have been right up front. God, I love him and miss him so.

it's like a nervous tick, hehe.
That was funny!! I'm losing my bawlls ova eaaaeer.
I can’t watch this video without crying. Seems like in so many ways life was better when The Sopranos was on!
I lost my leg in Afghanistan. So life wasn’t better. Maybe for you it was.
Sorry to hear that
This TV series was amazing@@justinhamilton8647
R.I.P: James Gandolfini
LONG LIVE TONY SOPRANO!!!!!!!!
Best Series Ever. nothing Could Top It
Sopranos would have won this year against any show, but boy 2007 was weak year, none of those other shows had the makings of a varsity series.
House was ok, but yeah... pretty weak...
I couldn't disagree with that more; how could you say that?..
They should have won every year they were on. Period.
The love that this cast has for each other is so apparent. Even the actors whose characters never really interacted. A show can't be as successful as this one was without that element.
Funny because during that time David Chase and James Gandolfini hated each other, lmao.

The Sopranos loved to eat and talk 😀
I do remember one or two walk and talks during the series, such as Ralph and Johnny discussing Ralph being hit by Tony. So they weren’t immune but they kept it to a minimum.
Aaron sorkin uses that a lot
Best series ever...Period there is no debate
Really they cut off David Chase when he was talking about the greatest television show ever winning there last Emmy.
I can't believe James Gandolfini didn't win best actor for the final series.
He was robbed..and by fucking James Spader of all people lol
The contenders that day were like "phew, glad that shows over"
Then came breaking bad and GOT a couple years later to win everything for almost a decade.

The Wire is better than The Sopranos. Anyone who's actually seen both shows always agrees.

Here there are some
Sopranos is my favorite tv show. Never watched Breaking bad or The wire.
The wire is great because it was very structured and regimented. The sopranos was great because it did whatever it wanted
+xoSToNE MaNox Breaking Bad is nowhere near the league of those two shows. Two of the best.
