Are you going to use same bus bar for nickel fuse strip?

Thank you for the question. No, I’m not using the same bus bar. When I use the nickel fuse strips I usually don’t need more amps than what the strips can handle. The big blue pack I’m using in between the 1s packs is made up of those strips and it handles the 90amps I throw at it with no heating issues when I power things like a microwave, Small AC unit, or even an air fryer.

@@myteslapowerwall7314 so all rest of the packs are done with nickel strip? How many amps per cell you are going to draw?

@@myteslapowerwall7314 i think i saw peter from HBPowerwall channel did a video about nickel strip and under thermal camera it was getting hot, but i don't remember amps he was drawing from pack. If i Don't have to do bus bar then i m thinking to do nickel strip route, i'll wait for video and your experience with nickel stripe spot welding vs soldering

The 1s packs are the ones using copper wire and glass fuses. Only the blue pack is made with nickel strip.

The 1s packs will be drawing 90 amps at the most. The bus bar is rated for 215a.
