I was lucky enough to see them live on my 14th birthday. My Gran and Grandad had the video, I 1st watched when I was 12 and loved them. Last performance in Glasgow Night ill never forget. Sure Josie sure Josie sure sure
I worked at the Festival Theatre in Edinburgh when Jack and Rikki did their final 2 week run there before it transferred to Glasgow. I think I watched most of every performance and never got tired of them. Genius. Was hilarious when they took a few pot shots and pretentious local councilors who thought F & J was not good enough for their new theatre.
I remember meeting them at the old Renfrew Airport when I was a wee girl.I lived in Windsor Road Renfrew and a few of my family went to the airport to greet them. Such fun guys!- What memories!
I love these 2 l first saw them at the odean in glasgow when i was 10 years old it was at my school christmas concert. I now live in australia. Such happy memories. Mary
Diffo two the best Glaswegian legend's so funny just can't stop laughing. No matter how many times I've watched them. They make me proud to be a Glaswegian.
As a kid in the North east of England. early 60's I was privileged to see "Francie and Josie." on Tyne Tees Television. I loved them and wondered all through the decades whatever happened to them. Only to find their legacy remained in Scotland and not in the rest of the UK... I loved these guys.
My most favorite comedy duo and a huge part of my childhood and now! If only they could find all there old black and white shows and reshow them! Or at the very least there lives shows such as this every so often for everybody to enjoy time and time again! Fortunately for me i have them both on DVD!

I remember my mum taking me and my siblings to see them at the Kings in the late 70s/early 80s. I like this DVD, but nothing beats the live show!

Francie & Josie are legends in Scotland. England had Morecambe & Wise and The Two Ronnies, but WE had THE BEST.
We did. The very best.
I grew up with this banter

Such a sad day in our lives.
This is a commercial for Crown Toppers!
You can see how much they influenced Glasgow comedians like Ford and Greg .
they would be cancelled and blacklisted these days, for the chinese meal sketch alone!
No they wouldn't. Sit down and stop making up tabloid level bullshit about stuff that doesn't actually happen.
