Hormann's programming instructions for the remote are double dutch, I can't believe that a process so simple and expertly demonstrated by yourself could be written so badly by the manufacturer. I gave up and went to TH-cam for help, so a big thank you from me for making this video, sanity has returned and I can now open the door on my garage once more.

I had the new remote with 2 buttons programmed, one with blue flashing and one with red. Now Im trying to add another remote, but so far Ive only managed to program the blue button. How do I add the red one?
you posted the only video where I see that you learned a fixed code on button one while having button two still in bisecur mode. One simple question : how did you manage that? The instructions seems to indicate this possibility, but all tutorials always start by switching the complete remote in fixed code before learning an old remote.
spent 1 hour doing the instructions from the devise the ones from the door its self then i tried this i also tried the phone no from the end of this video all to no avail in the end i swapped out the internal workings fro one to the other a lot easier and less hasle

Thank you. The two button original one has been replaced with a four button one but still works as you demonstrated

Great tutorial - worked first time! Clear and concise. Wonder if one of the buttons can be programmed for my DEA gates - would be laughing then!
What about if you no longer have a spare key to connect from? I lost one and now my current is broken so have no working keys

Hi, is it possible to learn a NEW ONE HSE2 (or HS4) to an older Type HSM4 ? Or can I throw the old types away? :-(
