@@davidenosebio-is9ys I just wish the Philippines would focus on FULL Filipinos. It sends a bad message each time when a 100% Filipino is not chosen like they are not good enough. I understand the Philippines was under colonial rule and maybe it is this colonial mind set, a hang over from the past, I don't know?? But I do know that it is not good for the psyche of young full blooded Filipinos and Filipinas. It is sad that the country is not aware of this. I am sure they are great 100% Filipinos that with a little training could be great competitors. South Africa has a White mostly Dutch Afrikaan population and some would argue that this population has better features than most native Dutch in the Netherlands. Maybe a few good looking people left the Netherlands and created the stock today, who knows??. You would think that they would use the same mind set as the Philippines and only promote the White Afrikaans in beauty contests to represent the country? But they do not!. Sometimes they do, very seldom but most of the time, not. If they only promoted the Afrikaans than the locals would think something is wrong with them. The Philippines needs self love.
