Boy, I bet you're happy you blew the 32 apart! The frame, the body and all of it's parts need a lot of love! As you blew it apart I'm sure you thought, I can't believe I drove this home! Lucky, I'd by a lottery ticket if I were you! Thanks for sharing!
Believe it or not I subscribe to over 70 YT channels. Some are frequent posters many are not. Some channels are news, political, or history based, but most are car related. This channel is quickly becoming one of my favorites.
Good work. That car is getting exactly what it needs, a new owner. It looks like sometime in its past the owner got a deal on a five gallon bucket of industrial orange.
Lots of good parts there. 32 axle, wishbone, spindles, perches. Hydraulic brakes, uncut K member, 32 pedals (?) . I put together a 32 recently keeping as many stock parts as I could. Big build series covering all that. This Sedan is a great start for a trad build.
If I'm ever lucky enough to be able to buy a janky 32 Ford anything that runs and drives and looks like that bailing wired and bubble gummed up metric and American bolted orange marmalade sedan I will split the front and rear wish bones and fix the rear suspension and paint "janky" on the sides of it and then work on all the other disasters it has one at a time until it wouldn't be so janky but leave on the letting lol !! I'm glad you have such a positive outlook and a good sense of humor, that way I won't end up on the $hit list for something I say too fast. Haha At the speed your getting things accomplished on that car it will be unrecognizable from before and running down the road safe and smooth and lower before the holidays arrive !! Good video. 👍
Haha I hope that happens for you. But don’t split the wishbones, there is absolutely no reason too unless you’re putting in a wider engine, and the suspension design works so much better when they’re unsplit.
@@LGKustoms very interesting. I didn't expect you to not split the wishbones. Are the wishbones intact on your 47 sedan ? Is that some kind of aftermarket trans tail housing that does away with the torque tube and accepts a yoke ?
@@crazyoilfieldmechanic3195 my 47 has stock wishbones still, as does my roadster. The transmission in the 32 is a 47-52 Ford truck 3 speed which is basically the same as a 37-39 Ford car three speed, only they use a regular slip yoke driveshaft rather than a torque tube.
I’m always amazed at how well these cars performed based on the way they were engineered to begin with and how well they adapt to small changes that make them so much better. How many current vehicles can be stripped down that quickly? I really have a lot more respect for many of the pre 50’s cars and trucks.
Hi Lee and Shannon , Happy Sunday Morning ! Great day in Matlock , Manitoba to get stuff done . Heard from big brother there was a car show in Vermillion Bay , Ontario yesterday , and there was a show in Petersfield, Manitoba as well . Just 10 minutes from home but to busy with making a carport home for my coupe. Shall keep watching the '32 updates knowing it's going to be well done . I'd be happy as a rat in a drain pipe with that '32 .Do Blue Heelers chase rats ? I may have to re - think that comment though it maybe entertaining to watch . Glad too see you have so much fun on the "pig " riding machine enjoying your icecream . I've only seen the horse type ones .
Maybe on the t shirts. We’re only brining the roadster, and have to pack our camping gear too, so it’ll depend on space. It’s not the roomiest car, hence why I’m building the 32 haha

Haha I’ve driven worst. When I was 21 I drove a shoebox ford that was a total death trap. It didn’t even have a windshield.

Thanks so much. That means a lot.
That’s going to be so cool when it’s done!
Lol I can't believe you drove that lol this is going to be awesome when done. Lol yeah you had some scary rides lol. Awesome video very cool 🇨🇦🛠️🇨🇦
Looking good Lee! Excited about this one! I need that helmet!

As much as I like tradition, I’m excited to say when I’m done there will be no more orange anywhere on that car haha
Another excellent video
Love the direction of this project
Thanks Andrew!
Its going to be so much better when your done with it
Great 👍 job guys
Thank you

I know! Isn’t it great. A guy could spend a lot of money trying to source these parts individually.
That thing was so clapped out. But still cool as hell!

Haha yea Doris does like the chase rats! Good luck with your car port build!
Going to be a sweet build !
Thanks!
..I think you're doing the right thing with it.....at least you'll know what you've got.......
Yea, and for me it’s just easier to start fresh.
The bolt from the Wishbone, i think is from the Wishbone cup on a model A, siting indside in the Gearbox
Ridem cowboy!
He needs some pointy toed boots !! Yee haw !! LOL
Must be a nice neighborhood, looks like none of your stuff outside doesn't get damaged or even stolen.
Doris keeps the riff raff away! 🐶
@@LGKustoms Lol.
Maybe that engine would be a good candidate for some "aircraft stripper" followed by the pressure washer.
Then "etching primer".
Yea, I mentioned near the end of the video I was going to try some stripper on it. I’ll pick away at it throughout the week
@@LGKustoms
Yeah , order a couple of strippers, they'll be most helpful.
Not a real exciting video but nice to see the car progress. Glad I watched till the end to catch that great outro.
Thanks 👍
Hey Lee can't wait to see how the car turns out..we will see ya in Mission..will you have t-shirts available there?
Maybe on the t shirts. We’re only brining the roadster, and have to pack our camping gear too, so it’ll depend on space. It’s not the roomiest car, hence why I’m building the 32 haha
Glad to see the "temporary sedan" getting built correctly. What color are you going to use instead of orange?
Great question, I’ve changed color ideas three times so far haha
Use a needle scaler to remove the paint from the flathead engine and transmission.
Cool. I’ve never heard of a needle scaler before so I googled it. Looks like they work pretty good! Thanks for the tip
Awesome video awesome music whats the bands name 👍
The Cavaleros. I have a link to their website site in the video description. Check ‘em out!
Thanks mate
How much time do you have into it from removing the body to taking to the sand blaster? Looks really good😁
I haven’t really been keeping track, maybe 10 hours?
Look at Old Time Customs 1952 Custom.
I know the car! And have been following it on the Canadian Hot Rod history page.
