It would definitely be fun to run a machine that size, but I think I'd go nuts just loading trucks day in day out. But maybe not.
U would I've done it the bigger the machine the more brain dead the work ran big machines in major road projects and loved when it would be winding down and you would run smaller machines doing the finishing touches more skill required and pride in wat ur doing
@@Ma-fh9on I'm sure you're right.... I do almost all finish work for the past 10 years or so. Usually 8 to 10 ton machines with tilt rotators..... every day finish grading, grade percentages and topsoil work. I think loading trucks would be a nice mental break, but not for long probably. 🤣

About 35 to 45 seconds per truck. Approximately 500 to 600 for 7 hour shift
It's easy to lose sight of just how big it is until it swings out over top of that dump and puts it in perspective.

What is the black, white, and blue shit?
I’m only guessing here based on my own knowledge/experience and sound of bucket and machine as it cuts the earth. Looks to be sediment layers of dense sun baked clay, volcano dust, blue pug/saturated soil and clay, seabed wash sediment,(caused by rough sea stirring up sand), ironsand (the sound that resembles rock digging)and bottom material old seabed limestone. Then under all that is coal. Lot of history in that dirt.
