I think Claire is really gone. I think Ritchie leaves to work somewhere else, and eventually comes back but he and Carm need to get to the root of some things. But with the strike it could be years before we see another show.
I felt as though that conversation with Ritchie and Carm while he was stuck in the walk in was really the most eye opening & full circle moment for Ritchie.. Carm lashing out at Ritchie from frustration & anger while Ritchie pays it no mind and tells him exactly what he needs to hear.. “you need me” “I love you”.. & the irony of it all with Ritchie being the adult in the situation and having his “shit together”. Carm built all these individuals up in different ways inspiring and encouraging & they rose to the occasion, meanwhile Carm is “stuck” literally and figuratively. It was beautiful to see them all mesh and thrive it sucked Carm couldn’t see through completely.
they way i took it was that carm took care of the others, so that when carm was under, they "took care" of him. when you take care of others, they take care of you
you missed it w Sidney- her arc depends on attaining true leadership abilities. You cant become a leader by watching Coach K videos or reading books. She proved her leadership abilities after everything fell apart the second time when Richie offered to step in- and she said “Drive”. Bravo, Syd! Bravo!
The thing I regret the most about watching this show is starting it. Now, I am like a tweaker, looking for my next fix, except I only want The Bear Season 3.
So addictive! And they are brainwashing me into cooking better food! Really I bought lobster tails last week...and filet mignon this week! Tge food!!!!
I believe there's only 2 other shows I've ever rewatched (excluding DVD sets) and that's Anne with an E and She-Ra and the princesses of power. Now I've rewatched this. 🙃 Richie's episode made me bawl with happiness singing Taylor swift. Im going on reddit and TH-cam searching for anything I can. And I support the strike completely, but damn if the timing isn't hilarious.
I think Richie will leave the bear and work at the restaurant we saw in episode 7. Now my wild theory with Carmen is that he starts to dive so deep into the obsession of cooking that Richie or SYD pulls him out of it. I hope it’s Richie to help as he didn’t help much in regards of Mike and his troubles. So it’ll be a nice redemption for him.
Richie isn't leaving unfortunately but that would be so cool. I want to see him in different scenarios now. Im excited to meet his ex-wife's husband finally! I wonder who he'll be played by.
Thanks for the vid. I hear a lot of people say that Carmy is like his mum. He is not. He shares some symptoms with her. But his mum was more concerned about people not paying attention to her, whereas Carmy was more concerned about letting his team down. They’re leagues apart.
I feel so sad for Sug. I feel like she just wants things to go well. I also actually really like Pete. They are nice and just take a lot of crap from everyone. I like Camry too but he is so weak and crazy and he just makes me too sad.
I was wondering if they would have a time jump. Maybe after Sugar gives birth. Will she take a maternity leave and how will her status affect the family and the restaurant?
Well given the current writer's strike and actor strike its going to be a wild before we see a lot of are shows back hoping it ends sooner rather then later.
I would like there to be a episode of Ritchie flying to New York and confronts the Chef Carmey used to cook for, I feel that needs to be resolved as to why he was such a dick to him and gave him all that verbal abuse!
@@Thiccythiccreads 100% agree. I love them as they are but she seems jealous of his girlfriend and there was definitely an atmosphere when they were fixing the table together
I am torn. Partly because I ship Syd and Marcus and I want the main characters to have a non-romantic chemistry (sorta like Shang-Chi & Katy). But damn, there was definitely hints at some sparks between the two.
I hope they cover the fact that the beef has changed a lot in terms of status, for many people it was a cheap local sand which shop families could go to, I think it’d be important to highlight how it now being a more “sophisticated” restaurant it makes the original customers feel like they lost a place they could always go to for food as they feel its not catered towards them now, and so Carmy and the restaurant have to deal with trying to get them back as customers to make sure they’re earning enough money to survive.
i think there’s going to be a progression of syd and carmy getting really absorbed in work and getting closer as well as carmy trying to make up for disappointing the staff. they are foreshadowing / moving towards a slow burn between them as seen most of last season and super obviously in carmy’s panic attack scene and them under the table and i think they’re going to continue that in s3. i think they will also have richie continue to improve as a person and in the restaurant and carm trying to reconcile after their fight. also think that with the convo syd and richie have at the end of s2 about not having siblings i feel like they might get closer and develop a sibling like bond as carmy and richie end up more distant. also can see marcus struggling and that being a moment when the restaurant gets closer and steps up to support him or him getting very involved in his work after his mom passes in an unhealthy way kinda like carmy. maybe even syd and marcus going on a date? i can’t imagine them bringing claire back. i kinda feel like that story ran it’s course and served it’s purpose.
100% agree with this. I’m suprised not many people are talking about the foreshadowing in the panic attack. I think Claire represented Carmy’s past and Sydney represent his future, a way out.
One hundred percent. I think the slow burn will continue next season but I don't see them kissing or anything until season 4 (unless someone dies, then it'll take even longer). Because I genuinely think Sydney and Carmy are endgame.
I hope they show us more about mikey and his decision to commit suicide. Another plot that i would find interesting is the crew getting their michelin star.
Shows and movies like sex ed, la la land and whiplash made a case for choosing passion over love for perfection, but maybe to develop carmy as a person he need to maintain work life balance, so I think going back with claire would be a character arc for him. Like he doesn’t have to let go of something he love. That’s him loving himself in a way
The focus might be getting the restaurant a star. Carmen has to prove himself BIG TIME! Sydney will have to be recognized for saving opening night and hopefully that will bring her confidence. Claire will be gone for awhile and hopefully return. Richie might leave and go to another restaurant for awhile until Carmen realizes how much he is needed, especially when Nat has the baby. Mom might die but maybe provide some healing as she feels her life slipping away. Plus we hope Jamie still appears in flashbacks. Basically everyone will have to continue to step up and ultimately realize the ultimate value of respect and teamwork needed to be awarded a star. The storyline is amazing and ALL the characters are great. Not sure I would label it a comedy…😜. Hoping for one more unbelievable Christmas Eve at the restaurant once it gets its star! ❤ SEASON 4 could be MAINTAINING THE STAR! No matter what can hardly wait!
Mom won't die unless it's like last episode of the season, but I don't think she's gonna die. She's too integral, shes gonna wanna make the baby and the restaurant about her.
I’m just eager for season 3. Part of me thinks that Carmen is going to go through a major crisis of conscience of some sort and almost lose everything because of his concern for the staff more than the restaurant. But.. with that said, every film ever made, and every story ever told begins with a person with a problem, then moves through dealing with it and finally overcoming it, or acquiescing to it.. in a big way.
I think the restaurant gets going and as it’s gaining momentum, Richie has pride in his new found strength and he rocks it! Carm’s Mom ends up in the hospital the run into Clare. The mom has a reality check and gets better meanwhile telling Clare she messed up as a mom and for her (Clare) to forgive Carm. The restaurant becomes a busy go to place as the epidemic is ending.
If they do bring Claire back I hope they make her less of a Mary Sue and give her character some realism. Rn she just comes off as this perfect person who is just a saint and handles Carmy w kid gloves. That scene at the end was the only real time she saw how intense his anxiety/aggression stuff can get and we see how she reacted to that. And it wasn’t even directly pointed at her like how he has been w Richie or Syd in the past. I’m not against their relationship but I would want it to be a lot more fleshed out w us seeing Claire’s history/ imperfections in order for her to be more of an actual person like the other characters on the show vs a plot device like this past season. I don’t think Carmy is ready for a serious relationship rn anyway.
I love your analysis , couldn't agree more on the bear , But you have literally made every episode look like a masterpiece, it's definitely good but definitely all are not great, by this standard you ll have to make so many videos on Succession then
The relationship between Claire and Carmen should be devoloped further on.. that was the most interesting part of the season. I Hated the “fishes” episode: too far stretched and too convoluted.
What do you think the main plot will be about in The Bear Season 3? Comment your thoughts below!
I think Claire is really gone. I think Ritchie leaves to work somewhere else, and eventually comes back but he and Carm need to get to the root of some things. But with the strike it could be years before we see another show.
With Claire out of the picture I think Carm will throw everything into the restaurant and we'll see a rocky journey towards the Michelin Star

I support the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strike 100%. But, I can't wait until we get this gem of a show back! I think your predictions are spot on.
The writers deserve all of the money for this gem!!!!!!!!!!
I don't care what happens next season, I just need more Uncle Jimmy he's great
He is a great character for sure!
I like to think he and Richie will grow closer after that gesture in the finale
And Ebrah and Sweeps too!
Richie's character development! *Chef's kiss (pun intended)

its going to be interesting to see how his wife reacts to him having his sh*t together. not that they should rekindle or anything

i think that Carmy is going to become that chef with Sydney
I predict a relationship between Carmy and Sydney. They clearly have chemistry.
oh i hope not
We need to see a male/female friendship depiction that is completely non sexual
Agree, but I want it to be a slow burn.
