  • @GLDN06

The plane struck a few birds while on take off. Which caused an engine failure. So as the initial speed of the plane was starting to gain momentum that time, it then suddenly dropped after the failure of the engines. This led the pilots to land in the nearby Hudson river. It's a really risky task, as it is a huge plane just to land on a single strech of the river immediately after takeoff.
    The pilots were truly heros!

Despite all the hedonism and sinfulness of America and specifically New York City which brought about the so-called 9/11, this is a very heartwarming story. Remember, God will not destroy a city as long as there is still one good person in it. Thank you God.

the three stripes on the epaulettes of the pilot's shoulders is for a First Officer, which was Jeff. Sully, the Captain, would have 4 stripes on his shoulders. What ticks me off is the fact that Sully suffered a wage decrease because of this, like it's his fault! I remember seeing this on the news, and I was so glad that everyone was alive.
