Chase this is some great instruction. Thank you!. One way you might want to consider putting it is that the board stays parallel to the water so when you're over the face of that wave you have got to bring the nose down but it seems to me, a rookie, but it seems that the board stays parallel to the water unless you're climbing for foil flight.

Good to find you a few years later. I’ll be on my 8’8” 26” so I have to be very subtle with that back knee.

Looks to me that at 16;35 neither foot is on the center line of the board. Earlier in the video you said how important this is so please explain, thanks.

I'm selling short mast superiority when the bottom is close and you don't have an alternative.
    Embrace the the short mast.
    Like you said, precision....
The short mast will teach you precision.
If you have the perfect foil wave disregard my comment..
If you live next to a almost always shallow reef and don't feel like driving all over hell and back, get a short mast and commit to it.
Practice makes perfect is what I heard. Put on a 45cm mast because you live next to a shallow reef and Practice!
My friend is maybe going to be the first person to link waves on a 45cm mast!!!!
Stay tuned, this foil discipline, sport, is just getting started.
