    I’ve been saying this for the longest, I know Asian families that let their kids live at home until they’re in their 30’s and older. And it’s not judged through their community at all, it’s normal actually. With black people we’ll judge each other so quick. Like “Damn you’re 20 and you still live at your parent’s? As black people we need to change that mentality and let these kids get some time to figure it out, if they’re doing something positive. We have to lose this “you’re grown, figure it out mentality.”

      BIG OL FACTS!

    • @patrickfalls6819
      @patrickfalls6819 3 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      The key is, as long as they are actively listening and making a continuing effort to accept the parent's guidance and put it into action.
      When the parents are "correctly" raising their children and those children are still defiant and or lazy, then I 100% believe that they need to get out at 18.

    • @jaypat9278
      @jaypat9278 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Bro this sound good and all but if you got mad siblings and your living situation uncomfortable you gone get out soon as possible so if your family got the meens for you stay home do it I guess but if not you gotta get it

    • @patrickfalls6819
      @patrickfalls6819 3 ปีที่แล้ว +20

      @@jaypat9278 If the living situation is uncomfortable, then it is because the family has relationship problems and that is a huge obstacle.
      The parents need to stop having kids when they cannot afford to. It keeps you trapped in the hood on government assistance.
      Establish financial security then create a family and then drive towards financial freedom.
      Yes, the game is rigged but we can still play it at a high level if we make good choices.
      Our conditions dictate where we begin but our decisions dictate where we finish. ✊🏽

      Look into Biotechnology. The manufacturer of pharmaceuticals. I work for a company that has a partnership with Johnson & Johnson. And they’re working heavily in Alzheimer’s research. My job pays me a rate. But because I work nights it’s an extra 15% or shift differential...then on the two weekends a month that I work it’s an extra 5% plus Triple time on all major holidays. As well as Triple time when the company shuts down for maintains and technology upgrades. I went to college for a while and stopped. Because I’ve always gotten jobs that paid decent in my eyes as compared to my counterparts that have college loan debt. But my situation is different and I also live near a place called Research Triangle Park. Lots of opportunities here. Hope this helped

      There a massive teacher shortage in math and science. Cali has top 5 teacher’s salary in the USA across all states, and because I’m a black male I’ll be more sought after for diversity.
      I start out the gate at $51k with constant annual raises (and that’s before master’s degree credits and finishing my master’s)...plus I can teach summer school, or tutor over the summer, if I want extra cash

Once you get a 680 credit score go buy a duplex with an fha loan and live out of one side and rent the other side. The problem isn’t colloge the problem is what degree are they getting. People go to colloge for “dance theory” and get a 100k loan and go out to the real world and realize no one is going to pay you to give theories about dance. On the other hand if you get a business degree you enter a private sector business and start making big money.

      If someone wants to go in debt to do something they love or inspired to do then that's on them. I can think of a million frivolous things people waste money on compared to a degree. Getting a degree is about the knowledge of a particular major but also it speaks to a person's character. With all the distractions at college, and a person still gets up every day, goes to class, take notes and study for 4/6/8/10 years and finishes says alot. It's like the difference between local sports stars who never make it to the pros versus the pro who humbled himself enough to take getting chewed out by that hs or college coach, monotonous practice day after day, missing out on social happenings, and playing within a system of a team to make it to the big time.

      @Shawn-xg1ow 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Your using the 100k to leverage borrowing 500k the 100k is acting as security on the 500k. You essentially will have to pay back 400k bc the 100k of the 5 is yours. Your not going to get out paying the $400 unless your to say eff the bank in which case you came up on 400k all though this way it's going to screw up your credit but when you have the knowledge fixing your credit ain't shit but I wouldn't advise it for regular Mfs. Just pay back the 400k after you make a return on whatever investment. The key is accessibility, the 100k got you access to 400k.

    • @eric_david
      @eric_david 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      the concept is not to borrow to spend/waste the money. the game is to get the 400 and purchase ASSETS (real estate/businesses/investments) and the assets will pay back the 400 not you personally because you will multiply that money. use the money to make more money. how the rich get/stay rich. so with the 100k you borrow 400k and turn that into 800k and pay back the original 400... meaning you turned 100k into 500k without ever spending the original 100k. that’s just a simple example but you can leverage it even further and make a lot more than that

      @@User-rn6it Yea that's a fact. But I feel many of us have been brainwashed into believing the idea of college or the go to college for the experience deal. You know dorm life all that movie shit. But when real life hits and we are no longer living a fantasy we fold under pressure and make bad decisions. College is not for everybody but I wouldn't play around with it. If you're going to do it go all the way with it.

    For those that don’t understand borrowing against your money:
    $100k in a checking account at chase bank. They see you have $100k in cash so they approve you for a line of credit for $500k.
    Now you have a checking account with $100k and a line of credit (basically a credit card) with $500k. Use the money on the $500k credit card to buy the expensive things that make money and pay it back when you make it.
    Ex. Spend $120k buying and fixing a house then selling it for $200k. That’s $80k profit after you pay back the $120k on the credit card.
    So now you have $180k in your checking and still $500k on a line of credit to use again. Rinse and repeat

    what jobs are he talking about right out hs to make real money

    • @ATD909
      @ATD909 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      jack morgan he’s talking about trade schools; auto, plumbing, welding, HVAC (controller air pressure systems like air conditioning and fridge/freezer repair), electrician, entry level medical jobs like medical billing/medical assistant/vocational nursing, etc)
      These institutes teach you direct job experience and can be completed on an average of 18 months, with direct job placement when you graduate.
      These types of jobs have a high median age , which means these jobs need younger workers to enter the field. The high surplus of college students means jobs like the above will be plentiful and pay well.

      I didn’t watch the whole interview. At first when they came on they grouped the trade schools with the 4 year schools. I have a trade school (Associates) degree myself and it got me a 6 figure job. Trade schools is where its at.
