      Definitely give it a try! It’s so much better than freeze and fuse and so much easier to unmold! I also love that you can clean up the shapes, including a light sanding after it dries out and before firing. Such a game changer!

    Thank you for this video. I recently tried this product and was not super pleased. The shrinkage was so much more than freeze and fuse. The firing phase really smelled, even with the air purifier on. I will try again but not for the little parts because of the shrinkage.

      You’re welcome. I’m glad you enjoyed it.
      I found there was less shrinkage with the cooler firing temperature than the hotter one, but I agree, it’s definitely way more than with freeze and fuse. The smell was dreadful! I opened the window while it was firing and that really helped. My favorite part was how sturdy the pieces are at every stage. Even the most delicate things are easy to unmold, and I love that you can fix/ modify before firing.

      Most of my molds were from Amazon.

    Have you tried a fire schedule for a high fire polish but keep it shorter?

      Not yet, but planning to do a lot more experimenting. Absolutely LOVE modeling glass!

    Can you coat them with clear glass powder before your first firing?

    • @KathyFitz1113
      @KathyFitz1113  หลายเดือนก่อน

      Probably, but I haven’t tried that yet.

      @@KathyFitz1113 I just bought some. I will see what happens.

      I put a light dusting of clear powder over so many of my projects, especially the ones with many tiny components. It holds things in place and gives everything a nice smooth finish.

      @@AnnetteRintelmann Same here. I used to be more “connected” but I don’t have time for that now that I’m retired. 😂
