I am deaf and I love ALL your videos but this is my favorite as before I lost my hearing it was my favorite worship song. Thank you so much for what you do. You can see the passion in your facial expression. Please keep up the awesome work.
I am not part of the deaf community but I always find the beauty of ASL so amazing...ty for posting for the deaf community and for those of us that just see the beauty of ASL:)
I love how you sing in ASL. It makes whole lot of sense to see the emotion and expression of how we feel. Love to see more of you singing more song in ASL. Thank you.
I just dedicated your version of this song to my friend Les who died this morning of Bulbar Onset ALS. He could only speak thru his hands for the past year by typing on his computer. Between the words of this song and the passion you brought to your interpretation it just all came together to touch my soul. My older brother also is battling Bulbar Onset ALS and I soon may be dedicating this song again.
Kevin i just want to let you kno i love your videos they makes me cry all the time ...keep going God bless you ..your a good motivation for others God bless ...ily
I'm learning a little bit of sign becasue in school in one of my classes I have a deaf student and her EA is also deaf...after a trying day I like to just unwind and watch sign music....you are doing a great thing! Keep it up!
You have an amazing sense of rhythm when you are signing.. I was an interpreter many years ago (although my signing is a bit rusty these days) and also have a background in music and it is rare to see a person who signs songs that has a good grasp of sign language AND good rhythm. You do a great job!!!
Awesome signing..I've seen many interpretations but this is very good..continue to let the Spirit of God manifest through you..I'm gonna post this on fb for my deaf students...God bless u
wow! I love to appreciate ASL. I'd like to lear it, because, I use Brazilian Signs Language. I always watch your videos. I am an interpreter at church to my deafs people. God has been save them. God bless you!
I don't really know how to sign but for some reason it attracts my attention, the way you sign is so inspirational . I look at your video's and I am learning how to sign some songs thank you so much for putting these video's on TH-cam Please continue to put more up . Looking forward to learning and seeing more of your video's . God Bless you.
Kevin, you are the most expressive signer I believe I've ever watched! It always brings a smile to my face to find videos of people just worshiping their heart out! God bless you, brother!
I have watched a few of ur Christian related videos & I would like to say that you are inspirational! God has layed on my heart for high school to be in an ASL class. God has blessed me with this class. (: Thanks, brittyWheels2014 !
wow your signing is good. If i hadn't read a few comments before i commented i would have thought you were Deaf. I grew up from the age of 9 years old watching my mom and the three of her friends signing at church for the Deaf. my mom and her three friends are hearing but they all have degrees in ASL and interpretation for the Deaf. I love signing with my friends and family and my little adopted Deaf cousin she is so adorable.
Your interpretation of the song is aboslutely beautfiul! After watching yours and watching the "standard" word signing, yours is so much more espressive. I have always wanted to learn sign and this is just inspiring! Thanks for sharing! =)
I love watching you sign - your delivery is very inspiring. I am a believer in Christ as well as a daughter of deaf parents & I can certainly appreciate the depth of your love for Christ. Please do more songs, I personally love some of the old hymns. I'm wondering if there might be a televised contest to let the world see the beauty sign language of when it is combined with memorable Christian songs. Thank you for posting this.
Just wanted you to know that your ministry is truly a blessing, not only to the deaf, but to us hearing folks! I starting signing for my church about 6 months ago and I love it....and they love it!! My favorite artist as of yet is Chris Tomlin! I have used some of your signs and I have a friend who ministered to the deaf who helps me better interpret. since I want to do it correctly. Have you heard of Aaron Shust? I did his song My Saviour My God. I think you would like it!
Ya the syntax and grammatical structure is very different in ASL compared to SEE. If you only learn SEE (Signed exact english), then you will never be able to understand anyone else except for those who do SEE and you will never be able to become an interpreter. If you know ASL then you can be an interpreter and you can match whatever syntax that your deaf client is requiring you to use. i.e. ASL, PSE, SEE...etc. I learned in High School as well as Liberty University but i'm still learning.
You do an awesome job. I have noticed that many that put ASL in their title is more PSE or English. You truly use ASL concepts and I have enjoyed watching you very much. Thank you for your contribution to the Deaf Community.
wow you did such an amazing Job. I felt your spirit in this interpretation. I'm blessed enough to be a volunteer in my churches sign language ministry and my favorite thing to do sign songs.
Aloha and thank you for all of your videos! Could you please sign "One Thing" by Hillsong and "Word of God Speak" by Mercy Me? Really appreciate it and looking forward to you blessing us again with your artistic God given gifts. Aloha from Hawaii!
This I one of my favorite songs. Your signing is amazing. I have always wanted to be an official sign language interpreter, but I'm still don't know which college or university to attend. I have signed a few songs, by watching you and picking up on them. Your feedback would be amazing. thank you!
Amazing! ASL is more than just signing, it includes body movement and facial expressions and you captured all of it and used a beautiful song. I aspire to be as good as you by capturing the beauty of ASL while also sending the song's message. One day you might comment on my video :-) God Bless!
Hi there! I'm deaf.. i stumbled across to your video. You did amazing!! :) i love this song, the choir actually sang this song last sunday! I assume you are hearing, but your signing is so flawless. I have some ASL videos of some songs, if you wanna check it out. Keep on signing! :)
Hi, Awesome job man. I am in a Chori for my church that we sign. It/s called praising hands. No one in the choir is deaf but its a way to spread God love. We do have a youtube page called thepraisinghands it's our choir leader showing us the signs. Check it out... Again beautiful man....
Wonderful job! It seems like you truly know the God you are signing about! I was wondering if you have any tutorial videos. I am new to ASL and trying to learn all that I can. I especially would like to learn to sign worship songs for church. Keep up the great work!
There's a tutorial on how to sign I can Only Imagine. It's really simple, I'll see if I can find it. Found it!! It isn't exactly like Kevin's, but it's pretty easy.
Thank you for explaining the differences. I grew up learning SEE I guess since that is primarily what my brother and sister used since they are both born deaf. They both graduated in the 80's so it seems to have changed a lot since then. Is there anything or anyone who inspired you to be an interpreter? BTW, Even though I don't know much ASL, I enjoyed watching your video. You have a great passion for what you do. God Bless!
@ktloveland That's awesome. You're welecome. I'm just finishing up my associates degree in English/ Deaf Studies, So I have two more years left. Good luck to you.
I like your style bro' .. Well done. Check out Amber Galloway for some more tips on English to ASL in music. Not all Christian songs but ASL brilliant. She's really amazing. (So are you!) One tip for example, instead of just signing music sign the actual instrument. There is onomatopoeia in ASL. Also as you move toward interpreting some basics like 'no logos on your shirt' and stay with dark solid colours and no back lighting. Love your heart. With you in Him. Scott
Can you also hear or are u all the way deaf just memorizing the song I mean u did great I just wanna know what u signed before doing the song cus I'm trying to learn how to do sign language human videos for god but also sign in general
That was totally inspiring! This is a true ASL interpretation and worthy of its tribute to GOD. May God bless all who partake in this song.
I am a CODA, and my parents and I enjoyed this beyond words. Thank you for sharing your passion in worship for our God! His gifts shine through you!
Loved it! I too am a CODA and I really enjoyed watching it. It brought tears to my eyes!

That sent shivers all through me. That was so beautiful! Just wow!!
I never get tired of you seeing this! I always like to come back to it when I feel my signing getting SEE. Thank you!!!

WOW!!....Just....WOW!!! I do interpret and I hope I don't hurt anyone's feelings but guys usually aren't so expresive to music. You are so talented!!!

Hi Jeff,
Have you done You Put The Light In Me by Brandon Heath?
@ktloveland thank you. I'll record them and let you know as soon as possible.
What is the sign where you point at your heart, first with one hand then the other? It's during the chorus.
you are so cool!!!!
What do you mean by "conversational signing"? ASL is conversational.
Do you have any updated Sign songs?
