You could always keep a cat 100% indoors. My mom lived in a coyote area and she kept her last cat 100% inside as many previous cats were sadly killed. We live next to a busy street, so we keep all our cats indoors. It's much safer for them anyway. ❤

Highly, highly recommend this video since you're tying the knot in CA! Apparently, after 7 years without a prenup, everything including your premarital property becomes marital property in California. The talk about prenups comes at the 2 hour mark in the video.

By your age, I had had 3 babies, two healthy babies and one stillborn son. Then we waited to expand our family more and had 3 more sons in our 30s. Then I got pregnant at 41. I lost the baby and just 4 weeks later, my husband died suddenly. Life can change in an instant and be so much shorter than you plan. Always live life how YOU want because when it's over, you won't care if everyone else approved of all your choices. It will only matter if you spent your days happy spending your limited time on what matters to you.
I’m so sorry of your loss. There is a Christian woman by the name of Kat Kerr. The Lord has taken her to heaven many times. She wrote a book called “Revealing Heaven”. It has brought hope and joy to so many who have lost loved ones. 🙏

There's pre-nups, but there are also post-nups! I spent several years not working or working flexible jobs while my husband went back to school. Now, he's got the higher degree and earning potential, but we agree that he wouldn't have had the personal motivations or appropriate support without my contributions. Basically, he pursued it for US and OUR future success. So, we've agreed that a post-nup makes sense because he'll always have that education, but I wouldn't have anything to show for my sacrifices should our relationship sour. It's not about thinking negatively about the future, it's about making loving choices to guide fair outcomes no matter the circumstances.
Our kids had their first child at 40 and 41 and I have other kids at 39 that may not have they love to travel it’s just not in the plan. Do you guys ❤ on another note I was married for 37 years then widowed and same happened to my present husband. I was wondering if you got an update from insurance/the doctor about all of the costs of your nose revision with the added hospital stay! I know it can be hard to advocate for yourself, but you deserve it! Also totally understand not wanting to sue, and obviously this isn't legal advice, but if things don't go well with the claims, please talk to a lawyer and consider that option. It's stressful, but that's what the system is for

Be sure you do not file a claim against your homeowners policy only against the moving company. Home insurance is horrible in California right now and any claims against your homeowners policy will prompt a Non renewal.
Insurance is a bigger scam than anything. We pay thousands upon thousands of dollars over our lifetime & if something happens & we file one claim we are punished. Such a rip off!!
As to the comment about wether or not to sue the movers.. it isn’t about the money at all.. the main point is how they lied and did business in such a bad way.. I would want to do something about it specifically to keep it from happening to somebody else .. the next person may not be able to replace the items broken/stolen. They should not be allowed to continue business at least.
I’ve really changed my mind on prenups when I heard it explained that everyone basically has a prenup- it’s just the default laws in your state. So not having one doesn’t mean you won’t get divorced, just means that you don’t have a say in it. But I’m glad you found something that works and feels right for both you and jordy
That's right and a good way to look at it. Marriage is more than just a little bit of a legal agreement anyway, so you might as well make sure it works to your "advantage".

The problem with not suing that moving company is they aren't really held accountable and will continue the same practices and some people can't afford that. Can't afford to lose their lifes belongings and can't afford to be ripped off. Of course, this is not Michel's responsibility, and it is none of our business whatsoever. I just hope that business faces the consequences they deserve.

You don't have to sue them, file for small claims and you can get up to $10k. Unfortunately you can't rely on a shady and dishonest company to compensate you fairly for the cost of their own negligence, and if they're not held accountable at all they'll just keep doing it :( If I had to guess, they'll offer you $100 and a coupon for a future move

There's pre-nups, but there are also post-nups! I spent several years not working or working flexible jobs while my husband went back to school. Now, he's got the higher degree and earning potential, but we agree that he wouldn't have had the personal motivations or appropriate support without my contributions. Basically, he pursued it for US and OUR future success. So, we've agreed that a post-nup makes sense because he'll always have that education, but I wouldn't have anything to show for my sacrifices should our relationship sour. It's not about thinking negatively about the future, it's about making loving choices to guide fair outcomes no matter the circumstances.

I was wondering if you got an update from insurance/the doctor about all of the costs of your nose revision with the added hospital stay! I know it can be hard to advocate for yourself, but you deserve it! Also totally understand not wanting to sue, and obviously this isn't legal advice, but if things don't go well with the claims, please talk to a lawyer and consider that option. It's stressful, but that's what the system is for

Be sure you do not file a claim against your homeowners policy only against the moving company. Home insurance is horrible in California right now and any claims against your homeowners policy will prompt a Non renewal.

As to the comment about wether or not to sue the movers.. it isn’t about the money at all.. the main point is how they lied and did business in such a bad way.. I would want to do something about it specifically to keep it from happening to somebody else .. the next person may not be able to replace the items broken/stolen. They should not be allowed to continue business at least.
I’ve really changed my mind on prenups when I heard it explained that everyone basically has a prenup- it’s just the default laws in your state. So not having one doesn’t mean you won’t get divorced, just means that you don’t have a say in it. But I’m glad you found something that works and feels right for both you and jordy
That's right and a good way to look at it. Marriage is more than just a little bit of a legal agreement anyway, so you might as well make sure it works to your "advantage".

The problem with not suing that moving company is they aren't really held accountable and will continue the same practices and some people can't afford that. Can't afford to lose their lifes belongings and can't afford to be ripped off. Of course, this is not Michel's responsibility, and it is none of our business whatsoever. I just hope that business faces the consequences they deserve.

She may have given Mordi to someone who wanted a pet, but left out the real reason why she gave him away.

Unfortunately you can't rely on a shady and dishonest company to compensate you fairly for the cost of their own negligence, and if they're not held accountable at all they'll just keep doing it :( If I had to guess, they'll offer you $100 and a coupon for a future move
