Can’t wait to see who comes out on top. My money is on fury cos he’s so good at punching from distance and up close. Usyk will need a couple of rounds in the middle to reassess and maybe have a rest from constant movement. Not sure he’s young enough to do that and contain furys physical and feinting threat. Won’t be surprised if either win but I’ll be more surprised if usyk wins by knock out than if fury wins on points.
@@Theactivepsychos whichever way I look at this fight going, I can’t see an outcome other than an Usyk win. He’s just too clever, too busy and he can adapt. Fury has one style, flick out the jab, 1-2 combination and then grab & hold. It’s been effective against mediocre opposition but when it’s not working (like in the Ngannou fight) he has no plan B and no other skills to call upon. He’s got no real power in his shots and invariably most of his opponents stick around for a good while. Sadly for Fury, Usyk is someone you just don’t want ‘sticking around for a while’ 👊💥😴
@@SmokingJoe62 wow. I’ve never heard such bad analysis of fury before. Or maybe everyone else is wrong and you’re right but he’s totally adaptable and he can be reactive as well as proactive. I don’t think I’ve ever seen him in a fight where he didn’t have to change what was planned or what adapt to something he wasn’t expecting except maybe Wilder2 and klitchko. In almost every challenging fight I can think of he had to change his skill set at least once; ngannou, chisora1, wilder1 and 3, cunningham and wallen. And you talk about jab and a two combo like it’s a monolith. That single pattern can include every type of punch you could ask for. The jab becomes throw away and reverts back to solid sometimes in the same attack. And he’s got such a good recovery from hard shots that he’s gonna be much more comfortable getting the odd punch of usyk than almost any boxer he has fought except pianeta. Be interesting to know what full fights of his you’ve seen.
I think Fury is slimming down far too much and despite all the talk from him of 'size being everything' he is genuinely concerned about Usyks movement. I think Fury is shredding too much, and this will gas him out. Also, if he IS allowed to hold and lean (he shouldnt, its illegal) then he is going to be a stone plus less than his normal weight and it wont be as effective. Fury is showing the signs of a boxer very worried about an upcoming fight. Usyk does not look concerned.
I picked Usyk to win this fight over 2 years ago. My opinion has gotten stronger in the past year. Usyk is a very disciplined and highly skilled boxer. He has a resume of fighting the top fighters in his weight class.

you have some of the old school guys, working on the ground and not being known by many - but their boxing knowledge is up there with many so called top trainers.
Tyson Fury is a phenomenon, he is a big man who moves well, and knows how to spoil and he can make opponents miss. He also recovers really quickly from a knockdown or a clean shot. However, what Oleksandr Usyk is really good at is figuring out the puzzle. You can see him learning as the rounds go on so that by rounds 8 or 10, he has properly zeroed in on the target and his punches become really punishing because he is hitting the target often and hard. Where he might come undone is if he gets hit with good body shots often.
Fury has a very underwhelming record. He is very disrespectful to Klitschko - who was touching 40 when Fury fought him. He beat Wilder 3 times and the whole boxing world knows Wilder is a hype job. Fury has not fought anyone else, and narrowly lost a silly fight to a man who cant box. He is the ultimate con job. If the referee on fight night prevents him holding and leaning, he loses one major weapon he needs to conserve energy. He has never ever fought anyone as good as Usyk, and his concentration levels will struggle to keep up with a constantly moving southpaw target - and dont underestimate how much that southpaw stance can trouble Fury. Youre spot on about Usyk too.....once he figures out that Fury offers nothing except a big punch, if he can avoid it, he could stop Fury. I think Fury is out of his depth here.
