It's one of the most functional nano scapes I've seen. You can place a large amount of coral in that small tank easily, they won't shade each other and can have good circulation.
Of course, at this point it looks boxy, like something you would buy as a Lego kit, but when it's covered in coral, that will no longer be an issue.
When scaping a reef, it's a good idea to include multiple small caves because many fish will need them to spend the night. An idea to solve this issue is to use multiple rocks to create the base.
That being said, I'm still hoping to see you incorporate more of the freshwater aquascaping techniques, without making it too gimmicky, we can't recreate forests, mountains, etc. It's a challenge, not easy at all.
The biggest sin of reef aquascaping is the lack of depth and it's something that freshwater techniques can solve.
What we can do is either recreate a small portion of a reef or a miniature of an area of a reef. Here's material for inspiration : th-cam.com/video/bghZ2KHMjGI/w-d-xo.html
What I have noticed in the last few years is that as people get more creative with their scapes, the less the scapes resemble anything you can find in the wild. The old rock walls looked more natural than 99% of what I see today.
Add the "one of each" look bathed in windex light, leave the tank barebottom and the result is ... I can't find the right words to discribe the result.
It's like someone ate all they could eat at a candy store, went to a neon party, felt sick and threw up on top of a wedding cake on top of glass table. There, I found the words.

Really cool! Are you sprinkling sand on top of the super glue or what is that?

That sand is crushed Marco rocks. I sprinkle it to cover the gaps between the rocks and then do couple of coats over the top. Crushing Marco rocks is painful part but it create best bond and looks cool too.
