Nite Ize is confident enough to say that their Runoff series are rated at IP67. That implies they have it officially tested, and it is dustproof (the "6) and submersible in 1 m ( 3 ft ish) of water up to 30 minutes (that's the "7"). It's about time they come up with a hip pack style bag. They have been offering pouches and packing cubes, some of them with attachment holes for a while. Never one designed to have a "proper" attachment point for a strap until this one.
It’s great that it works in the first test, but how well does do on your second day at the beach, after it’s been opened and closed a bunch in sandy conditions. I’ve owned a few underwater camera housing and it was amazing how many sand particles would get into the waterproof o-rings. Every morning I would go through it with a toothpick and carefully remove them.
The fact your testing it by sacrificing actual electronics instead of a paper towel inside is a testament to the waterproofness.
Hmmmm a paper towel - that would have been smart lol
For real! Haha that's great!
@@ThePerfectBag 🤣
Perfect timing for this video with all the trips everyone has planned coming up.

If only there wasn’t a bing window there I’d use it to conceal carry while swimming at the beach

Hmmmm maybe a real world test at the beach next?
@@ThePerfectBag I really hope it works!
