There was no screaming, no buckling up, just pure Adrenalin pumping through our veins. Some wore flak jackets and some did not. Some sat in jump seats, on the floor or in the door way. Coming in to a jungle clearing, setting down with tail rotor almost hitting the ground. Jumping out looking for Charlie. Not knowing whether a round had your name on it or not. Ready for anything and anyone. No wonder we were messed up. Combat does that to you.
I never seen a Huey going that fast. Not even in real life. So now I know how some pilots in Vietnam escaped the VC.going fast and moving side by side and down and up.
This pilot has some seriously good skills. I hope he doesn't retire before I get the chance to visit Cape Town some time in the next 20 years.

I have done this ride in Cape Town for six times and every flight was amazing; Pilot Francoise is the number one in this simulated combat mission 👍
